Perhaps that’s the case or perhaps he can still turn it around. You can’t forget he was technically an early investor in a troubled Tesla, and that turned out as a good investment.

Ok so I see the math there, but then he would have still been accountable tho shareholders.     Also I truly believe his intent is to revamp not to retire, but time will tell.

So that’s 37 million total severance.   Where are we getting the 6.5 billion loss? I’m sure it’s accurate based on the 44 billion he paid, but I hadn’t seen that number before.

I’m keeping an open mind to see how it plays out.   You can’t forget that Tesla was almost bankrupt several times and struggled a lot early on.

Am I the only one who thinks the Elon/Tesla hate is getting a bit overplayed?   Journalistic criticism is one thing, but this feels like more than that.

Scrolled for the Acura one.

Think 2 missing are Aventador SVJ & Giulia GTA.  History will tell...

I always found Rolls designs to be timeless, especially with all the throwback styling cues on post BMW ones, but I suppose beauty always is in eye of beholder.

Do wonder if the Maybach ones helped bring this trend back.

Had never heard that before- but now can’t unsee the bowling ball thing.

Same issue the new NSX had- a vocal #of critics put their expectations ahead of whether it was a good car or not.

Freevalve will license their tech- so your wish is coming true.

Mine was even a FCA buyback car- and in 3 months and almost 3k miles not a single issue. It really seems a few of these were just bad apples.  So many people have a great experience.

Same, I wasn’t a fan of the face on my Model 3, but now I like it, the longer/higher front doesn’t really work.   I am a fan of the side and back tho, but I like swoopy SUVs so that’s prob why.

Amazing a RWD 720HP car can do donuts.

Several dealer I worked with will hold nicer/upgraded loaners for those who bought there, but that’s about it. Obviously sales will be nice to you either way.

haha, there may have indeed been publications like that in the past— it’s just they’re not around anymore.

The NSX hate is people who wanted it to be a simple and reliable Ferrari competitor vs the hybrid thing. What they fail to realize is NSX stands for (new sports experience), and so having Hybrid tech in there made perfect sense because right now that kind of performance tech was only on Hyper cars like the 918, LAF,

Not sure the BMW interior is a bad thing, because BMW interiors to me have always been a bit nicer than Toyota interiors (Lexus, is a different story).  But if it’s a nicer Toyota 86 type interior vs sticking with the BMW one, I’m ok w/ the BMW one.

I should have said work on them much anymore. (see comment to Bruce).
