Wow— I’m happy for this and the Bronco. That small truck category hasn’t been great, the Ridgeline prob being one of my favs. This one looks great to my eye at least.

1st time I bought an East Coast car, was a older Mercedes ML- it looked good when I stuck my head under to look for the rust which I know can be an issue. Looks don, but later found the whole part of the car you couldn’t see underneath was fixed with putty or something (hid the rusted parts but obviously wasn’t a…
that M5, a million yeses. Just had to pick one of these up.
our neighbor had a corvette and several acres so a nice long driveway and parking lot. I got to cruise around in it.
I would. I bet they would sell warranty, but of course a good aftermarket one would be the way I go on these types of cars.
That one looks like the car was built for the wing and not vice versa- so I approve.
Luxury /sports car leasing is a big thing, why Alfa is ignoring this market and not even attempting to be competitive here (it’s as good deal to finance once w/ a credit union) is beyond me.
Early reservation holder here (few days after the launch) and no word at all. :(
Disagree Dave, I always understood the Autopilot on a modern plane will also use radar to avoid (or at the very least warn) the pilot of imminent collisions. I could be wrong but several pilot friends mentioned that the planes basically fly themselves minus takeoff and landing (and even that’s starting to change).
I think for his own survival, they need to put Hammond on the Hybrid, SUV, etc beat. Poor guy, but glad he is well.
and is a VERY hairy car. But who says he wants hairy/scary? I recently drove my 911 Turbo on track w/ stability both off and in sport, and trust me hard to drive cars are overrated. People who like them probably like them for the same reason some people like manuals I assume— to brag how they are good drivers…
Interesting. I wonder how European delivery would work in those states. I suppose they would just date the contract ahead for your date of pickup in Europe.
So is the Genesis Sport even with all the work not better than the regular? The regular with its Lotus suspension tuning felt smaller than it should so I figured with a faster rack- and everything else, it would handle pretty well.
Well Will -no haggle prob means the price is lower than MSRP already? That’s often how they work. But getting a factory incentive isn’t haggling with them on the set price.
Again though if they fly the Suvaru flag, as a dealer- this whole thing reeks of a problem.
Generally speaking- if the deal is active when you contract (and isn’t limited to dealer stock). So you may want to contract a bit early (I did that before in rice expired- but then so to potentially do your payments start early, or use the wait it out approach to see if a better incentive arises).
This seems very straighfwoard because Geico has always paid me more than it would be for a similar miles, year, etc. If they didn’t, I would just show them all the listings and say “hey you’re under by 5k” and that seems like you have a pretty strong case (even if you have to take it to arbitration). Am I wrong on…
Leased cars are great as a couple rentals pay your lease. Or along those lines, a second car where you want to recoup your payment again in a couple days of rentals (make sure it has warranty tho, in case something breaks- that would suck).
It does work very well on leased vehicles, and ones where you don’t think an accident would affect the value of the car.
ya renting a manual or Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, etc where a accident on there will kill your value is risky as heck. But on a leased car, or an extra car w/ warranty and a service plan the car basically pays for itself!
