Ya, from experience— it works really really well on a leased car, or an extra car w/ warranty and a service plan where it’s not expensive enough where a accident on there will kill you value (think Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo).

Fun fact- in some areas raised hood ornaments were so stolen (MB, Jaguars leaping off, etc) that’s why the Rolls (and maybe Bentley?) retracts.
Love it! “New Mercedes models did away with them”. Luckily the S & even C if ordered in luxury trim shave them. It was impossible to get on my C Coupe tho... so sad. Although traditionally, their coupes were less likely to have them.
I’ve always wondered why there was no R Spec Audi engined AWD bug before. I mean damn- they had a pet project putting a Lambo engine in the back of a Golf!
This was a real car? Did one of the engines drive the front wheels? Because if so- that thing was probably a beast.
Lol- I see what you did there! It’s like saying to a pedestrian- “hey you need to let that Mustang cross” I’ve always wondered why there was no R Soec Audi engines AWD bug before
glad someone else made that joke, that’s immediately what I thought when I saw this ad.
Looks a little like a LaBaron. I wonder if this belonged to John Voight at one point.
Had a couple of older Boxster and they were pretty bulletproof. Hoping that’s true of my 911 Turbo I have now as well.
Not to mention on lap one, turn one Saturday there was a crazy crash that took 3 cars out of contention. Got some great video of that- will have to post on Oppo
But he said not lots of maintenance or upkeep, which suggested he was looking for something newer.
Gotta love that, hands down the best modern McLaren yet.
Right I was only saying if he could have accepted the offer and created a contract. Sorry that wasn’t clear.
So depends on local law. The argument you can make for doing so is clearly this person had to drive this car here. Very hard to prove they did so while drunk- six really depends.
If the kid hadn’t been in the car- I woulda thought it was a test for a new stunt driver for an upcoming Fast and the Furuous movie. It looked fairly epic actually.
Actually as a former lawyer- IF he could make it far enough to accept their offer AND contract on Aston Marin at X price- and pay them as well- he might have a somewhat arguable case. On the 44k one that is, because obviously the other ad is so out of range no reasonable consumer could expect that to be accurate. But…
Am I the only one not seeing the change in the front from the prototype below? The Camry bubble in front bumper is still there. I’ll wait to see official shots before pulling my reservations- but the front just doesn’t excite me as it looks “unfinished”
Right I think it’s the fact the stock turbo has 175HP, 25 HP sounds like they did less than a stage 1 tune, and said— meh we’re done.
Tim, I’d say def drive them both. The civic coupe in touring Turbo has Mazda like dynamics (which also means old BMW when they had good steering). Based on how soft the base Elantra I reviewed was, I’d def drive them back to back. Perhaps a sway bar, some suspension changes and the turbo helped, but it had a long way…
This just remidned me of how Jaguar turn signals sound like a heartbeat. Coolest turn signal you’ve heard?
