and before people jump on me that I hate exhaust— every performance car I’ve owned either has factory upgraded exhaust or an aftermarket. I LOVE exhaust and like them a bit loud (have owned a few track editions).

I have to say it reminds me a bit of those totally unrestricted exhaust Mustangs I see every Cars and Coffee- that sound somewhere between a loud popcorn maker or fireworks. It’s just not pleasant when your car makes one sound (and a deafening one at that). It’s the music car version of fart cans really.
Ya I found the article late. I do consider the Giulia a luxury sports sedan that happens to have super car performance, and for me it would be a daily driver so that’s why I agree Jason Camissa (sp? if you saw the latest MT review on it) made way too much of a big deal in his rant it has no manual here. Also for…
Someone finally said what I was thinking: That was excillerating and also terrifying to watch!! In racing you hear smooth is fast. This guy had to correct at least twice, he saved it like the pro he is, but man was that not scary to even watch.
For me, it’s the black plastic in the front. It’s the same reason I was critical of the 124 Abath in my review (the lusso looks way nicer). 1st, and perhaps only, mod I would make to that car would be swapping the grill.
That’s a fair argument, but then with any PDK you can leave it on manual mode and it won’t touch the gear unless you paddle it. And when you do your hands will be on/near the wheel and it’s a faster shift than any mere mortal can hope for. “But when driving an auto for fun (with or without paddles), I almost never…
The whole it’s the person signing the check arougment isn’t a great one for manuals though because that is how companies are looking at it. I am a huge manual guy but as a car enthusiast would not give up performance for a bit more engagement (I say bit more because flicking a nice chunky paddle shifter and getting…
if you are still in warranty- I’d have them check your speed sensors maybe. Alternatively could have been a patch of gravel, slick road, etc. It’s crazy what can set those off. Obviously some are more sensitive than others.
it’s worse in other systems like the one from MB or Hyundai, when it stops steering for you, or assisting in the steering— there is NO AUDIBLE warning just the green steering wheel turning off. Talk about false security.
But we can’t break all 4 wheels individually. If stability control is doing that, it sounds like one wheel is moving at a different speed— could be uneven tire wear, could be a patch of bad pavements- could even be a bad sensor.
Saw this getting a lot of hate, am I the only one who thinks it looks good compared to the A4? Not A7 good mind you, but still kind of sleek?
haha, excellent choices!
Agree it seems too fuzzy to be a leak (hence potatoe trending comment). It’s not mysterious- it’s just not a great photo.
Gotta disagree and side with the 2 year old- who I bet when you shows him and he has a keen eye will think it looks news (big difference from the Porsches heck even “ new models” have twilight or headlight change). Plus mechanically there is more here. A strong argument may be there’s not enough difference between…
What shocks me is the (I don’t know at least dozen or so) people holding cameras in the audience didn’t share, or pass it to a leaky friend.
Has BMW lost their mojo with the M5, re the nimbler comment? Because older AMGs (and even some newer ones) always felt front heavy, and a bit loose for that much power, or on the opposite end twitchy. They can get around a turn w/ all the tech in there, but nimble was never a word I thought of for them, more like…
I feel that name would be changed in the US. Hey check out my new Gazoo, “oh you got a kazoo?” I’d just tell people, “hey this is my new Toyota Supra.”
Because that guys can be clickbaitey as heck- and he probably already tried at 10mph and knew it’d do nothing. Same with his how far will a car go on empty or 0- the manual and websites for each brand show how many gallons the reserve is. Sigh.
I don’t put much faith in this guy’s vids after his “how many miles can you go Empty or 0"He had to know all cars have a reserve of 50 miles to 2 gallons (or hopefully did- otherwise doesn’t deserve to have a car channel with more subs than mine).
This same guy I recall did a video seeing how far his car would go on “empty” or 0 miles range.... any modern car has a reserve whether it be 50 miles up to 2 gallons. Sigh, and he has more YouTube subscribers than me.
