Falling back on that retort already?

Nothing to be ashamed of in knowing Muv-Luv. It is fantastic.

And they both came after Muv-Luv. This discussion is entertaining.

Yeah, I don't recall a single design in the Star Wars universe that has that design schema. I don't think it exists.

It's a scene from the Muv-Luv visual novel franchise. The up, down movement is from the mecha walking.

Dear god help us if this series is ever brought into virtual reality.

This is a court case within the United States. It legally applies no where else.

You can still file your claim. People that did not participate in the Welcome Back program effectively get two claims in this settlement. You just need to make sure to check that you did participate when that question comes up.

It was a court settlement within the United States of America, so no other country applies. You'd need to check and see if a court case is ongoing in Canada.

Arok is correct, but lying and saying that you live here when you do not is fraud. I wouldn't suggest it. Making an account out-of-country is one thing, benefiting from a court decision is something else.

"You just punched me two times in the face."
"Well you gave me an arrow shot to my leg."
"After you punched me in the face!"
"You're wearing a helmet! It didn't even hurt!"

A group created a patch that you can overlay on the official translation to fix it.

An entire route of the story is actually based on the concept of an ambiguous sexual relationship too (grey area between boyfriend/girlfriend and friends-with-benefits), mostly due to her insecurity about it.

Thanks for the response Stephen. I'll be in touch if we think of anything.

Hey Stephen, hopefully you're still reading these. Not sure how versed in the Kinja community are, but I'm the admin and more-or-less figurehead of the Ani-TAY reader-run anime blog that basically spun off of Talk Amongst Yourselves. My question stems from a common discussion that comes up in the chats some of the

If said game is Nukige, yeah they probably don't have developed personalities. If it's not, you'd be surprised how good the writing is.

I'd totally play Muv-Luv Alternative on Steam*.

I learned from the other comments here that the high-res texture packs don't work with the GOG-available game yet, but the guy that made it is working on a fix.

In terms of which game has aged the best, it's X-Wing Alliance with the high-resolution texture pack. They've all shown their age (the early ones especially), but Alliance was the most recent.

The key difference is that X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter was multiplayer-only while Rebel Alliance has a fully-featured campaign (XvT eventually got a small campaign, but it's something of an afterthought in my opinion). Rebel Alliance was the last in the series and once you add the high-quality texture mods, it's the best
