sorry - damn internet talking - I played Ori on PC with an xbox controller. The PC monitor is what didn’t help with the visuals being too small for me. I played HK on Switch, oddly enough BEFORE I even got a pro controller and was using a joycon...it really wasn’t that bad. Now that I have a pro controller I get it, I Read more

I was playing it on my PC which is an...average sized monitor? I dunno. It would definitely help if I played it on a big TV cuz it’s just really hard to make out some stuff, and I don’t think me being partially colorblind helps either haha. It’s funny, I literally thought Hollow Knight was one of the tightest and Read more

It’s interesting how people’s own playing of a game can be so different! I think the gameplay in HK is one of the smoothest and best in any game I’ve ever played. You mentioned Ori at the end and I played about halfway through Ori and gave up cuz I found it to be so annoying lol I could not STAND the graphics, I Read more

awesome! I’ve been seriously considering buying a PS2 and DDR for years but...it probly won’t happen. Sorry about the injury (and the snowstorms! heh). Ring Fit might work well for you - they showed you can turn on “silent” mode which stops the running, which could work much better for foot injuries. It also seems Read more

thanks! yeah it’s just starting to kick in! I’ve found 3 months is the magic period also heh. The ring...yea...I mean, they say they’ve tested it with bodybuilders so I think it should be fine? I’m pretty big, but I think because it’s so bendable and you’re never actually trying to tear it apart it should be fine.

yea that is a weird one! I beat it the other day at like 14h30m 84% I think. I got the uhh....blood platform? upgrade reallllly late lol. Totally missed that haha. If I wanted to get secrets I’d proooobly actually just play it over and take the path that I think makes the most sense. What a great game!!!

It’s not actually scary at all, there’s no horror elements to the gameplay. It’s just artistically....intense? I guess would be the right word. The opening to the game itself is pretty amazing. Not sure if that would help or not, but if you just don’t want that AT ALL then yeah, there’s a lotta creepy scenes in there Read more

yup! I did notice a little glitchyness here and there, but luckily I didn’t have anything game breaking! I can’t believe you had to restart, that sucks!!!

yup! I think its pixely goodness has also aged incredibly well, they had some seriously good pixel artists in that game. Like it just looks....clean and well put together and well made. It has its very own distinct style. It’s amazing! And can we recognize, still, the amazingness of the Beholder death animation? I Read more
