I find it bizarre that the take on Jezebel regarding this same exact interview, is that HRC is a TERF and the Sunday Times is a prominent UK newspaper. You call it a tabloid.

While I think there’s a space for this, we just need to be careful as allies that our feelings about trans identities don’t become the narrative, rather than transgender folks themselves.
I agree with most of the other criticisms, but also want to add that I think it’s okay for parents to struggle a bit when learning their child is trans. Not everyone can come out of the chute fully woke.
