I am livid at the racism being directed at Rep. Omar. I hope she is able to stay safe, as flag-humpers have proven they’re both gullible and violent.
Wikipedia informs me that Brad Pitt has won an Academy Award for producing, not acting. So, I’m not convinced Joan’s right.
Ugh. I really wanted it to be Bradley Cooper.
I’m here for the comments. I get a good laugh over almost every single comment calling the author out for being an edgelord.
Curious which part in particular you agreed with? I’m not looking to sow discord; I usually like your posts so I am looking for more insight.
She’s got a bigger megaphone than anyone on Jezebel. Which is a good thing, right?
Especially to Mandy Moore.
She looks like a light skinned black woman. Which is fucking weird.
I thought chin-length was the norm for bobs, but now it seems people are taking it to mean ‘straight hair above the shoulders.’
I picture the Queen sitting in bed, watching The Crown on her iPad and elbowing Philip forcefully whenever she disagrees with something.
This man is so mind-bogglingly stupid.
Yes - As LooseSeals said above, it would be interesting to get her perspective on the comments she made repeatedly back in the day now.
I had two bunionectomies when I was a teenager, which unfortunately means shoes that are “so cute” are pretty much a no-go for me. I envy anyone’s ability to wear heels for any length of time. Should I ever get married, I’ll be wearing a long hem with tennis shoes underneath my gown.
Maybe bring a ziploc bag of epsom salts? That’s what I bring when I know I’m going to be doing a lot of walking. That stuff is magical.
I can’t even stand a chunky heel boot for more than a few hours.
I suppose given the amount of commenters seizing upon the pull quote I should clarify. “We’re all pink on the inside” is a very white person thing to say. And she could have just said, “Of course I don’t get offended,” and left it at that.
I would definitely watch a tv show about Korean grandmas that are also sicarios.
I like Joan, but this was an unnecessary way to cover this.
“Do you get offended when people mistake you for black?” Pink replied, “Of course I don’t get offended. We’re all pink on the inside.”
