I swear I once heard something similar with the Charger police cruisers with the same engine. But in that case, the lifters would seize due to inadequate oil flow when idling, and cops do a lot of idling. I wonder if the issues are related?

Also, DriveTribe is admittedly light on hands on stuff, like David and Andrew will do. If you are into that, Grassroots Motorsports is worth the subscription.
FWIW DriveTribe has been steadily improving and is certainly worth a look. They are also building up a solid commentariat-community.
The comment thing is going to be a pickle for them. They need to bring them back; most similar blogs have them, and I think to some degree people come for the community as much as they come for the journalism.
That the person with that symbol doesn’t really give a flying fuck about the cops
It is viewed by many as tacit approval of the use of force by police against people of color
Considering that very few cops can be bothered to actually pull over these yokels and generally just give them a wink and a nod, I don’t think it’s as much of a contradiction as you think it is. Mind you, I am not saying it’s not a contradiction at all. Just not a strong one in the real world.
it’ll be leaps and bounds more expensive to replace
I didn’t realize that Jeep was doing the capless thing now. That really does sound annoying.
You sir are perfect for speedway motorcycling!
I can’t say I am with you on this one. Overall, I like the design and it works well on any nozzle updated in the last 10 years or so. If the only hitch is that I have to tilt the nozzle on older pumps, that’s fine. And so far, that really has been the only hitch.
The real fun one to fill up was my Kawasaki Ninjette 250R. Most noozles are so long that they would cut off about one gallon into a 4.8 gallon tank, since it had no filler neck. Just a little door that opens directly into the tank. So I had to hold the nozzle tip about 1/4" below the fill door.
So I was driving cross country and I stopped at a rural station somewhere in the middle of nowhere with a pump that looked like it hadn’t been changed since the Clinton administration. The gas pump kept cutting off after a quarter gallon. After a gallon, I decided to go inside and tell the attendant about it. She…
I voted NP not because I would actually buy this. But I can see an auto museum curator somewhere in this country who will pay $5k for an exhibit.
He already came and went
Asia sales. Suzukis are popular in both China (Changan Suzuki there) and India (Maruti Suzuki). Also, Suzukis continue to be one of the more popular Japanese brands in Europe.
For me the real stunning one is the 1/4 mile times. The Model S goes from being faster than a Dodge Viper when it has a fresh battery to being slower than my Mustang Ecoboost after only 4 or 5 runs. Going from a 10.7s 1/4-mile time to 15s is massive.
I showed this to my wife at lunch. Her reaction:
