Are you sure about that? I remember once being curious of what Health Care is like in China, and I was shocked to find how privatized it was given that China is a nominally communist country.

Are the Vogons armed with poetry?
Not sure how true it is, but I was once told that the Porsche 996 used a similar system where the coolant was only circulated through the heads and not the block. That’s why the 996 still has an oil capacity of ~12 quarts and a change quantity of ~9 quarts in spite of the then-new water cooling system.
Hydrogen is typically extracted from water by electrolysis.
Dschingis Khan?
Once upon a time most motorcycles didn’t have gas gauges. My 05 Ninjette 250R didn’t have one. Instead it had a “run” and a “reserve” setting on the fuel valve. In reality, they were just different length tubes in the tank. The run pickup could not access the last gallon or so where the reserve pickup could.
There was a guy at the local cars and coffee with a Cayman with a turbo 911 swap. In that case he used the 911s gearbox. What did he do to get it to work? Basically, the ring and pinion gear was installed upside down and that was it.
Which electric cars sound like a SW speeder bike?
Interesting tidbit. The speeder bike sound is the sound of ICE. They took two recordings m a P-51 Mustang and a P-38 Lightning and merged it and sped it up.
Suddenly I am more excited about the change. I also read the Drive, particularly for The Warzone. The rest of the site though...it could use some help. Patrick’s touch would be of great benefit there.
He’s already done time in Virginia. He really doesn’t need to add “Japanese Prison” to his resume.
today is my last day at Jalopnik.
“but it didn’t do so well in crash tests”
Sorry, I don’t see it. I have done the parenting thing myself and while I admit it was single child parenting, I never had trouble being a parent without a minivan. In my case it was an Acura Integra (me) and a Honda Fit (wife) when my girl was little. Everything fit in the trunk with room to spare.
“I realized I’ll never NOT have a minivan in my life.”
For 2 kids? That seems abit overkill. If they had a 3rd or were planning on a 3rd you would have a point. But for 2 adults and 2 kids any 4 door sedan or hatchback should be more than adequate.
You are correct, but the parents are still ridiculous. The kids in a newer Honda Fit with good rear facing child seats are in no significant danger.
Setting aside your point, there is also the fact that the Honda Fit is a perfectly reasonable and safe family car. It’s not like she is driving an old Dodge Omni.
