Father in law was an M1 company commander in the 1st Infantry Division during Gulf War 1.  He said they would use the exhaust from the Abrams’ turbine engine to warm up MRE’s.  Not just for him and his crew, but anyone who came along while the engine was running could use it.

It’s not the first time either. I remember hearing once that the 1966 Nissan-Prince merger was engineered in part by MITI to ensure that Prince wouldn’t fall into a foreign company.
