The fact that nobody acknowledged that in the moment makes me think they didn’t think of it. When Tyrion mentioned the baby, we really needed a reaction from Euron or Cersei.

Is it wrong to want Cersei to win in the end?
Nobody is talking about the “you’re sure it’s dead?” line from Cersei. That is exactly what you’d have a character say if the thing in question wasn’t dead (especially if you’re kind of a hacky writer).
So unbeatable that she lost one to a flying projectile, had one seriously injured by a flying projectile, had one overrun by skirmishers in a battle (to the point everyone thought it was dead).
I feel like all the questions we have are actually rhetorical at this point.
The solution here is to change the Too Many Men rule. I’ve been saying this for years.
On just about every line change, fresh skaters hop over the boards just as the skaters they’re replacing glide up to the bench, but before they’re completely off the ice. That’s fine. That’s what the NHL in 2019 looks like. Everyone has agreed that as long as a skater is out of the play, he’s off, for all intents and…
I know it’s only cool to constantly shit on the NHL for every action they take (or don’t take), but man, offside is offside. It fucking sucks, and the rules need to be updated, but what else do you do here? Get off the fucking ice, Landeskog!!!
Aside from how much this article glosses over, I feel like all this space could be way better used to talk about how fucking hard it is to separate people into “men’s” and “women’s” sports and how archaic that idea even is (which is an amazing and positive advancement in our society!).
This is such a hack response that doesn’t address any of the serious issue here, as pointed out by numerous commenters underneath you. I’m only commenting to make that as clear as possible. You want this kind of thing handled with nuance and care and humanity? Drop this trash rhetoric.
Watching the American electorate freak out over someone being “smart” is the most funny/sad thing I’ve seen in a long time.
haha! That’s a really good point. I’ve never read any of the books (and can’t imagine ever doing it), but I will absolutely be looking up how he ends it.
Only two episodes left...which after the last couple of weeks is merciful since I’ve lost most of my interest in how this finishes up.
That episode was a hot mess in general (as the latest ep was) but it was absolutely also too dark. You know how you know it’s too dark....everyone was complaining it was too dark.
I’m not sure I’ve ever been able to learn more about a person from a comment on the internet.
Imagine being a producer on GOT asking your showrunner “will people be able to see it?” and the answer being “well...the one’s who have adjusted their tv’s to certain settings will”.
You’re right. It’s people’s faults for having the wrong settings on their TV’s. They should have known to have set up their tv’s correctly before the show aired.
I’d wager no matter what happened, you’d be complaining about it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of complaints are indeed because of shitty settings.
Reading this comment is like watching interpretive dance. I kiiiiind of get it...but it’s also somehow crazy and boring at the same time.
