I’ll cut them some slack with the Jamie storyline until it plays out completely, but even without that, there were still a ton of misses in this episode. Brutal, brutal writing.

Far more likely that the writers don’t have anything particularly meaningful planned with any of this shit and just thought it was an emotional scene to write...so they did it. I can’t think of any reason to believe there’s anything more substantive behind any of this. 

This kind of stuff from Sandler is why all those “Sandler sucks lol” comments ring so hollow to me.

It’s honestly these kinds of horrible garbage takes that hold back progressivism in a lot of ways. We need to be progressive and fight to protect the marginalised, but you can’t be completely blind to the real world.

Sorry, you’re right. Having the second lowest score ever on RT, and being tied for the second lowest score on AVC is actually a good thing. This is a really good episode. The tons and tons and tons of criticism being aimed at it, for both being weak as fuck from a story perspective and weak as fuck from a technical…
