I saw the goal first and said to my hockey team’s group chat that, if I didn’t know any better, I would say Lindell dove on that play, but who would do that?

People are so hard for that knife storyline. Who gives a fuck? It’s not some genius long con. They found a use for the knife, cool, I guess? That doesn’t excuse how she used it, and it certainly doesn’t excuse the idea of writing off 8 years of storytelling because you couldn’t figure out what to do with the NK. And

I’m not big on RT for TV, but sure, if you want to use that metric, it was the second lowest rated episode in the history of the show.

“People” are acting like idiots because it wasn’t acted, plotted, written, and shot the way they wanted to

reviews have been overwhelmingly positive

haha fair enough. I didn’t mean literally no human could think that, more that, that isn’t a narrative I’m seeing much of.

Exactly.

He’s only the favorite because the Dems are still stuck in the mode of “he’s familiar, he’s attached to Obama, and it’s his turn.”

I always assumed there was more going on with a lot of these people/plot points, but now we’ve seen how they write a battle scene with all the major players in one place. With nothing holding them back except their own skills. I think it’s clear they just aren’t good writers. Period.

Stop acting like this was the last episode.

Yeah, bad call, not sure what the refs were thinking on that one besides “the Avs player is skating so fast he’ll get there first no problem”, which, they were obviously very wrong about.

Yeah, I’m the same way. Only because I find it hard to believe they’d be so stupid as to end eight years of storytelling in one shitty moment.

Nothing has expressed my frustration with last night’s episode as well as this.

They are cowards. This is the new GOT. The old GOT would have killed someone you didn’t expect, for no real reason beyond showing that this world is cruel and unfair. The old GOT would have had some major twists in the battle (and would have featured some actual strategy).

Yeah I guess we have to wait and see. But Joe is known as a good debater, I think he’ll do well unless someone can bring some new energy he can’t match.

Is it not a small problem that we’ve been building to this battle for literally 8 years, only to have it end because the Night King and the Edgar Winter Group couldn’t hear someone sneak up on them?

Absolutely brutal. There are so many problems with this episode from storytelling perspective, let alone from an technical perspective. Almost literally none of the build up from any of the past seasons paid off.

No man, it was dark as fuck. Everyone’s complaining about it. You can’t blame the audience for not having nice enough tv’s.

If this was a Simpsons episode you would have given it a “D”.

Apparently the polls have just moved.
