There is in USA, but I’m not sure why they used such an odd, different font for the keys.

But wouldn’t a version 12.0 firmware that fixed all existing hacks make it difficult for users on 12.0 to downgrade?

Well they will discontinue it at some point. And after all this time, there can’t be much left to do with the firmware anyway.

My take: Nintendo wants to put out an end-of-life update to the 3DS firmware and wants to eliminate any known vulnerabilities that haven’t been publicized yet (the hackers will normally sit on an exploit or two while waiting for major releases). They want to keep the final version piracy-free as long as possible, or

The key is exercising control over the trademark, and going after offenders. I’m not sure if a blanket license like that would work, because you are effectively ceding control at that point.

Great, you’ve posted the legal definition of fair use, which might be useful if we were debating whether or not the photo is fair use. This does not in any way rebut the content of my post:

the copyright would be invalidated if anyone ever sued her. That’s why firms zealously go after infringement, you need to protect your copyright or trademark for you to retain ownership.

Lindze is covered under fair use for parodying Rosie which actually would prohibit her from selling her photo for promotional use.

This fucking constitution though.. it’s longer than a real one !
