It’s impossible to tell that a kitten from the pound has been well taken-care of and properly weaned, which affects them throughout their entire life.

Rescue cats are a crap shoot. I’ve owned them, and ultimately it is a personal choice. In my situation, it was not the right choice.

Let me refer you to my concerns about the cat being properly cared for and weaned from its mother. Which, indeed, has been an issue for me in other cats I’ve owned.
