Is there a credit union in your area? They’re not perfect, but they’re usually local and have fewer awful... entanglements. I switched from Wells Fargo to a university-affiliated credit union about 5 years ago, and banking went from terrifying and stressful to almost-pleasant.

During the campaign, I re-watched the classic musical Cabaret. I have not gotten the “Tomorrow Belongs to Me” scene out of my head since Wednesday. I love that movie/play but I don’t know if I can watch it again anytime soon.
