The nature of politics is toxic. President Washington did everything he could as he left office to convince his peers of that. And yet here we are... 2 years out and already talking about the next cycle.

Honestly, I think women are the easiest to marginalize. Easier than other minority groups as many have grown up with the mentality to support it. I thought Trump would get crushed in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida because moderate women would either vote for Clinton or not at all. That didn’t happen.

The more left you move, the more leftists (some of whom seem to be disproportionately present here) will vote but the more centrists you will lose. The Centrist far outnumber either extreme, which is why Hillary Clinton did so well. And Barack Obama. And numerous others. Bernie Sanders did surprisingly well, but there

So you want a President Mike Pence?

I wish people would stop repeating this, as it isn’t true. And you’ll be seeing how hard it is to completely ignore the minority party (even with a super majority) very soon, very likely.

white lingerie. Not white models.

Because they had their civics courses in 5 minutes from a youtube video published by Miley Cyrus.

Senators Corey Booker, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders are what I would call the front runners right now.

The greatest thing in modern democracy is the systems of checks and balances. It is very undervalued when presidential elections come up. The comment sections of major sites always seem to act like the POTUS is the god emperor or something.

I still think this was an elaborate scheme to hand the Presidency to Secretary Clinton. One that would use extreme rhetoric and a highly controversial candidate in Donald Trump to basically get a low Republican turnout (disenfranchising conservative+moderate women in swing states)... that just went horribly wrong.

Right now I am seeing a lot of paths to 269-269... and a Republican House. I’m not sure Trump will get the House votes unless you really value the SCOTUS spot.

Honestly, I’m surprised it’s not $549 for the base iPhone 6S. and 449 for the iPhone 6. $200 off is a pretty good discount with a 1 year warranty.

I was just replying to Giz more than you, but in the age of non-PC behavior, I guess you should be able to call someone out for being too stupid to lookup the actual voter laws. (even if I really think that they are just a fake account trolling.)

But you can’t lie on the internet. That’s illegal! (/s)

When they are republicans, it’s because they are stupid. When they are democrats, it’s bigotry...

I wonder how many Trump supporters would fail to realize that 1-800-VOTE-TRUMP is too long to be a real phone number.

That has to be a troll. Like that screams classic 4Chan troll post.

It’s simple. Because the Constitution has a very clear principle on this: when there are matters of interstate commerce (which electing a President would include), the federal law takes precedence.

Simple solution: every time you do anything with the government that requires you to be a citizen of the US, simply register them to vote or confirm they are registered. if they are a citizen of the US, then they should (unless they are disqualified) be registered.

You mean in Washington you are required to have a drivers license to vote? Sounds discriminatory to minorities.
