The problem with this is that you are introducing lag with the wireless peripherals, as well as with the TV (some TVs are worse than others). This can add up, and really screw with your experience. Just remember that there’s a whole lot in between NYC and the ignorant and bigoted areas you speak of. Tons of large metro areas and suburbs that are fairly progressive (even in the South).
