I’d argue the Prequels hate Star Wars just as much. With the introduction of midi-chlorians.... taking the mystery and magic out of the force (the force didn’t need a biological explanation like this), and Yoda wielding a light saber, single handedly killing him as the wise, peaceful subversion to a Jedi warrior. I

I’ve heard this although I’ve never seen The Clone Wars. I think that’s great they were able to build on them and in a way make the prequels a better experience, but I think I was just too old and over those films to ever get into the TCW, which came out well after the final film in 2005. I saw all 3 in theaters and

Heh while not fond of the Ewoks, I never really had strong opinions of them growing up either way. I think for me as a kid, that movie was always saved by the big battle at the end, and Darth/Luke/Palpatine scenes. But really looking at Jedi, you see the hints of what was to come in TPM and I’m sure experiencing that a

See I disagree with this.... they’re both just different flavors of bad IMO. I don’t think they are masterpieces nor watchable compared to the sequels. Just bad for different reasons, but still all in the same low tier. Honestly, in a vacuum without the later movies, I’d even say TFA is the only watchable one out of

I think it’s less that the prequels were “reevaluated”, and more that Gen Z grew up watching them from a young age, and as their voices have begun to be heard in the world as adults, their fondness for them has been made pretty damn clear.

I play PS2 games on my Pixel 7 (non pro) all the time without issue via AetherSX2. Specifically, FFX and Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. Haven’t noticed any hitches nor does it heat up after extended use.

Come on now gotta share what car it is!

Yeah really wish these were smaller. I’ve had a 6 Pro and now a 7; and while the 7 is smaller it’s still pretty large compared to an iPhone pro. I may go back to a Pro as the 7 is just not small enough to make much of a difference, and I miss some of the Pro’s features (telephoto).

I mean if you’re into Pixels, seems like a damn near impossible deal to pass up. I have a 7 and wasn’t planning on upgrading but a free watch? I would likely just turn around and sell it, and you’ve got an 8pro at quite the discount.

It’s been great for iMessage on Android. I used BlueBubbles for a while but this just seems to perform better, plus it’s not being a hosted by a Mac mini in my closet that is susceptible to internet and power outages.

I knew this prior to the change, and agreed..... I feel it really really needed that part 1 in the title. Like when I saw Dune and the title was displayed.... your expectations were immediately set. You’re not going to get the complete story here.

I think it was early 2020 (pre pand) I was looking at specific slightly used MK7 GTIs in the $13-15k range and getting serious about jumping on one. Pandemic hit so I put off the purchase....when I looked again in early 2021, it became difficult to grab one in good shape for less than $20k or so. I jumped on a MK 7.5

It’s not really a car I’m shopping for, but I really appreciate the 12-inch screen being standard across all models. I’m so sick of shopping for cars with an interior I like with a decent sized screen/entertainment system, only to find it’s featured in a specific high end trim package (looking at you Toyota Venza, for

Agreed.

I don’t think Sony is going anywhere. The only losers here are the gamers.

You’ll probably get some push back to be a bit more frugal, get something reliable, establish yourself in your career and get a good financial base going.... but honestly, if you can do it without going into much debt and still comfortably save, I say fuck it and do it. If you’re a Jalop, you love cars, live your life

How does one get the card? Is it like a golden ticket random situation?

Looks cool but still just not sure if this is what moves AR/VR out of niche/hobbyist type markets. I think it will expand more and more but just isn’t going to be this type of tech that is universally adopted (like smartphones, airpods, etc, virtually everyone has one). I’ve always thought VR in general was really

Yeah premium is kind of a no brainer for me. I use YouTube for a quite a few different purposes, between work and personal. Can’t have ads clogging things up.

As a FL resident that can’t stand DeSantis, it feels so good to watch this whole thing backfire.
