Come on now gotta share what car it is!

It’s been great for iMessage on Android. I used BlueBubbles for a while but this just seems to perform better, plus it’s not being a hosted by a Mac mini in my closet that is susceptible to internet and power outages.

I knew this prior to the change, and agreed..... I feel it really really needed that part 1 in the title. Like when I saw Dune and the title was displayed.... your expectations were immediately set. You’re not going to get the complete story here.

I think it was early 2020 (pre pand) I was looking at specific slightly used MK7 GTIs in the $13-15k range and getting serious about jumping on one. Pandemic hit so I put off the purchase....when I looked again in early 2021, it became difficult to grab one in good shape for less than $20k or so. I jumped on a MK 7.5

It’s not really a car I’m shopping for, but I really appreciate the 12-inch screen being standard across all models. I’m so sick of shopping for cars with an interior I like with a decent sized screen/entertainment system, only to find it’s featured in a specific high end trim package (looking at you Toyota Venza, for

Agreed.

I don’t think Sony is going anywhere. The only losers here are the gamers.

You’ll probably get some push back to be a bit more frugal, get something reliable, establish yourself in your career and get a good financial base going.... but honestly, if you can do it without going into much debt and still comfortably save, I say fuck it and do it. If you’re a Jalop, you love cars, live your life

How does one get the card? Is it like a golden ticket random situation?

Looks cool but still just not sure if this is what moves AR/VR out of niche/hobbyist type markets. I think it will expand more and more but just isn’t going to be this type of tech that is universally adopted (like smartphones, airpods, etc, virtually everyone has one). I’ve always thought VR in general was really

Yeah premium is kind of a no brainer for me. I use YouTube for a quite a few different purposes, between work and personal. Can’t have ads clogging things up.

As a FL resident that can’t stand DeSantis, it feels so good to watch this whole thing backfire.

A GTI Sportwagen mmmm. I currently drive a GTI but would kill to have it in wagon form.

It kind of sucks that $600 is budget but here we are. It didn’t seem long ago when the 1060 was out for $250-300, and could play most games pretty damn well.

If it’s still in warranty (which I believe is 3 years on most cards), it doesn’t matter.

The S to me has always looked like “generic GTA car”, since I saw them first driving around back in 2012ish. I’ve never been able to shake that when I see them, to this day. Just kind of bland looking IMO.

Undriven collector grade cars are so hard to judge NP/ND; it’s fully up to the market, and people seem to be willing to shell A TON out for pristine versions of unremarkable cars. $50k probably isn’t that bad honestly.

Always felt the same way about Uncharted.... on its own, gameplay wasn’t mind blowing, but man was it a ride. Not a coincidence it’s from the same studio.

It's 2023, I’m 38, with access to unlimited entertainment, yet YouTube docs like these and those from Gaming Historian, Defunctland, etc somehow captivate me more than anything else. What a time to be alive indeed.

My son and I recently started playing the Link’s Awakening remake, and even with it’s pretty simple graphics, I see the fps drop quite a bit. I don’t understand how Nintendo has taken so long with this, seems like a such a slam dunk. We would buy it immediately.
