I just phased out the last of my 360 controllers from my house (used them between my living room PC, main gaming PC, and for some older games I play on laptop). I think I prefer the Xbone/current gen controller just a smidge over the 360, but it’s still a great controller, and considering we’re creeping up on 20 years

This was actually pretty fun and entertaining.

Is all the same to me... But I’ve never really cared much about skins and all that. It’s an FPS and you don’t even really see it when you’re playing anyway. But maybe I’m just this boring, soulless shlub.

Honestly, before this article I knew who Ned was but not Markiplier. I do now, however. I’m late 30s, fwiw. Seems like a cool guy with the charities and stuff. And I’m all for taking down Joe lol.

I expected mine to work like that but it doesn’t seem to. This isn’t one little stop for a few minutes. In stop and go traffic, in peak summer humidity, the car turns into sauna. I wouldn't say it gets to unsafe levels of heat, but it’s far from just a little warmer.

My 2018 GTI does it and I can’t stand it. I live in FL and turning the car off even for a minute in the middle of summer starts pumping in warm humid air off the coils as they warm up to the ambient temp.

May not get the Neo but looking at going to the 240hz non-neo model, from a standard ultrawide. 21:9 has been nice but I feel like it’s only giving me a taste. I want more.

GTI wagon would be perfection.  I've currently got a MK7.5 and it's great but I would prefer the same package in a Sportwagen for sure.

The thing is, it’s still not the worst. I’d take a Cav z24 with a manual over an Echo any day of the week. It wasn't a bad little compact car back then.

I dunno I’m biased as I had a Z for a while but I always liked the sound. It was stock and just had a little trumpet/growl to it.

I probably worded wrong but I meant when you get the final out the door quote, say hello to that MA fee. The sale prices listed in the image above do not include any fees or taxes, so typically you’re in for a pretty big shock after getting the final quote (in my recent experience).

I think everyone that has bought a car 2-3 years ago can say the same thing unfortunately.

CarMax warranty is not included and costs extra. It’s in fact a pretty good warranty, but it is not included in the price of their vehicles.... typically adds $2-3k to the final price.

I think MK7/7.5 GTIs are faring particularly well, with the market as it is, and also enthusiasts seeming to prefer them to the MK8 for a few reasons. I mean if I’m in the market for a GTI with the budget for a brand new one, I’d rather take a slightly used corn flower blue or great falls green MK7.5 over a MK8,

Forgot about that whopping 8 hp, which is arguably marketing since all stock 2015-2021 stock GTIs seem to dyno around the same, with and without the performance pack (but it’s well over the advertised hp). Regardless, 2018 SE includes the performance pack goodies.

2018+ all have the same power (the old performance pack rated hp), and this is a SE which has the R brakes and diff as well (performance pack features became standard on SE+ for 2018, and standard for all trims 2019+)

You’re forgetting the final “market adjustment” fee that so many dealers are adding after giving you an out the door quote.

Lol not happening.

Your GTI is very likely to have appreciated, then. My 2018 S is still in the green since buying it used over a year ago.

If you let the can sit level for the same amount of time, that usually works too.
