I'm the talent director for a comedy festival in NC, meaning once per year I spend a few months reviewing somewhere between 300-500 10 minute submission videos, and whittle that list down to about 50-60 comics that we'll ultimately invite out to the fest.

Ahh, “Tainted Meat”. Probably my single favorite Beavis and Butthead episode.

I was really disappointed in Pharmacy, and I wanted to love it. I laughed maybe twice. Seven Days in Hell was lightning in a bottle, and I just don't think it can be recaptured.

They really did a fantastic job with the hardware on the Switch. When I bought mine, I was skeptical that I would even use it in handheld mode all that much. I bought a Pro controller and figured it would be primarily a stationary console, and the portable aspect might add some fun novelty value occasionally.

They've really done a good job with a steady stream of releases. I have 3 Nintendo games, and 3 third party titles, which is a really nice little library after only 3 months with the console. 2 games per month is enough to keep me playing pretty much the Switch and nothing else.

I played this on iPad last year when I finally got a Bluetooth controller. I actually missed it the first time around, because my PS2 had the dreaded “Disc Read Error” and died not long before it came out. I watched friends play it, but never really got to sink my teeth in.

Or it could just be stars.

They've been a pretty popular battery/cable maker for some time now due to their low cost and reliability.

Wasn't there a port of Trigger included though?

That was my read on it as well. They essentially reincarnated her in to the present day to fix all this shit.

Same! Also some weird shit involving the Lodges where they were actual physical buildings I was trying to fight my way into. This episode dug in deep. I will be watching this one a few more times before the next one airs.

I looked at it more like this, the songs usually close out the episodes, and in many ways that song was the end of the "normal" portion of the episode. I think Lynch was telling us to get ready for something way different.

Especially considering it's on a Tuesday this year and does not even create a long weekend for lots of folks, although some companies will observe it on Friday or Monday to do just that.

Because the hobo was using his chant to lure potential victims to sleep so it could inhabit them. That definitely screams "BOB" to me, not Laura.

I said out loud to myself at one point "What the fuck am I even watching?" but I enjoyed it as well. Lynch, you've done it again,

Wow.

It really was just a fantastic hour of television. I saw some folks on reddit comparing it to Fantasia and they were not wrong.

Brought to you by Globochem.

You're thinking of "Plowed-Her Rangers: A XXX Porn Parody".

I picked up Cave Story+ this week for the Switch. Somehow I've managed to miss every other iteration of this game. I could have snagged it on Steam for 1/3 the price in the summer sale, but I'd rather have it for on-the-go gaming on the Switch.
