I thought the Black Lodge storyline, and really everything that focused on Coop and Windom Earle in S2 was great. Yes, James' plotline was awful, and there were other stinkers too, but they finished strong.

I play through the entire series about once per year. It's definitely my all-time favorite.
Oh man. The first time you go, when the Jose Gonzalez song starts up as the sun rises (or sets? Can't honestly remember) over the canyons. One of my all time favorite game moments. Timehop likes to remind me once a year that I liked it enough to write a Facebook post about it. It got no likes.
Also, the insane animal/human hybrids that bugs gave us. This video of the Donkey Woman is one of the funniest accidents I've ever seen in a game.
Well, Red Dead Redemption sold about 14 million copies, compared to the 29 million GTAV sold in its first 6 weeks. As much as I love the game, I don't think Rockstar's hype machine is such that they could do zero marketing for it.
Yes to all of this. Nearly every game released since Bioshock has had some kind of weak attempt at a morality play, Red Dead Redemption delivered.
Same! Easily my favorite game from last generation, up there for all time favorite. I've probably played the story a good 4-5 times, and the Undead Nightmare add on (while absurd) was a lot of fun as well.
I finished them last night. Not sure if they re-jiggered the controls for iOS controllers or what, but I found both missions incredibly easy to finish. I think I failed the second one once because I ran out of time.
I've been replaying San Andreas on my iPad now that I finally have a proper controller. The thing is, you don't have to beat those missions to progress the story and beat the game. I'm at the point now though where I have to buy the airstrip, and I'm about $15k short…the exact amount you get for doing the RC Copter…
I've spent years training my brain to ignore those rating plates, and I'm not about to go back now!
So what you're saying is…women are funny, get over it?
Sounded like the beginning of Peter and the Wolf to me.
I didn't see anyone make that comparison until this week. The episode was very much in sketch format, and a lot of those sketches were racially charged. I don't exactly see it as a stretch.
I had that problem with a lot of the real commercials. FX shows some weird ass infomercial type shit sometimes, so it took me a second to parse out what was real and what was part of the show every time they cut to commercials.
Ooo, that one too. It's seen a lot of backlash over the years, but I was more emotionally invested in that story than just about any video game I've ever played. The ending to (the criminally underrated) Burial at Sea Pt. 2 was great, as well.
I consider the MGS series my hands-down favorite in all of video games. I tried to dig through the series for a moment that was genuinely affecting…and I got nothin'. Maybe killing The Boss at the end of Snake Eater? Oh well, I guess things can be your favorite without necessarily being high art, or the best in their…
I was actually wondering this weekend who had the biggest PR disaster on their hands: Samsung or Trump? Samsung's is definitely going to cost them more in monetary value.
That is discussed at great length in the documentary as well. It's about the whole system, not just the amendment in the title.
Pretty sure the bully that tries to hit one of them in the trailer is meant to be Bulk. Given the whole "they're outcasts" motif in the trailer, surely they will have bully characters, and surely they will be Bulk and Skull.
I got a 5 inch taint.
