I think part of the problem is that while you can work on whatever you want at Valve, the peer review system means that you also have to be making contributions that others deem worthwhile, and at Valve that pretty much equates to Steam and creating new shit to sell as micro-transactions for DOTA.

Well, I thought it was a California/west coast chain, but looking at their store locator, I see that they're in NJ and FL on the east coast as well. Not sure about in between.

I'll have to give that a shot! There's one incredibly close by. Are those onions an optional burger thing, or mixed in the chili? If mixed in the chili, gonna be a non-starter for me. STOP PUTTING ONIONS IN EVERYTHING, BURGER PLACES!

You're all wrong. Even the In-n-Out fans. As far as regional burger chains goes, there is none better than The Habit. Maybe Fatburger if you're in the mood for a fried egg on top, but then you're pushing the cost into a territory where you could get a much better burger for the same money at a proper restaurant.

I enjoyed that game, but Super Paper Mario was the height of the series for me. It was the perfect balance of an RPG with platforming elements, and the switch from 2d to 3d environments was a fun mechanic, if a bit gimmicky.

I always wondered why Mr. White sounded like such a familiar moniker to me on Breaking Bad. You've figured it out!

Just added this to my list, love those 3. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't find The Major Labels, but I do see Major Label. Is the album a 2009 release called "When I Am With You, You Are Safe"?

Love the soundtrack, top to bottom.

Not to be a pedant (okay, I'm a pedant) but the actual name "Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters" is much funnier. The apostrophe makes it.

There was this one time, we stayed up wayyyyyy past midnight…

I touched on this upthread, but this song made me take up the drums, which I quickly got frustrated with, went to bass, quickly got bored with, and finally settled on guitar.

Also surprised he hasn't gone on to do more writing/directing. He's clearly quite good at it. But maybe he only wants to direct his own scripts and he only had the one in him?

It really does. It was a favorite of mine when it first came out. I was in probably 6th grade? It definitely made me pick up an instrument and start trying to appreciate/understand music in a different way, which I know sounds silly for a movie like this.

As much as I enjoy it, surely it had a very limited audience. Then again, 2 editions of it sold out and it's since become a collectible, so maybe that'll spark publisher interest in a follow-up.

Evidently they only go for between $100-$200 these days, depending on the condition. I just looked out of curiosity. I think the full set I sold is currently in the hands of someone who's selling them for roughly $300 total, which is far less than I sold them for. I guess I got in at the right time.

I want to say I bought it in 2010? Definitely after it was already out of print. Had no idea I was getting a true collector's item. Then again, their collectable stuff generally fetches top dollar. Those vinyl KidRobot figures usually fetch at least $1,000 a piece on eBay. I bought a set ridiculously cheap and turned

For a more in depth look at the crazy Gorillaz backstory, I would highly recommend the book "Rise of the Ogre". It's a complete history of the band up through the end of Demon Days, both actual, factual things and the insane fictional cartoon backstory. Lots of great, full-page art as well as little tidbits, but the

In general, I think it's a fair assumption to make, but based solely on this article? Probly not a fair assumption as he has little to do with any of this, he just makes the music. Jamie and a few writers/voice actors do all the backstory stuff.

This is definitely higher than a "C" for me. As others have said, it's much better than any Pixies record in 2016 has any right to be. Indie Cindy didn't click for me at first, but watching them do some acoustic versions on Tiny Desk Concerts brought me around to the beauty in some of those tunes. In retrospect, it's
