This episode was definitely my favorite so far. I really enjoyed the first two, but this one really hit the tone they're going for, I think. And it was hilarious pretty much from start to finish. One of my favorite throw away lines was when Darius goes "There's probably a bullet in here (the cereal), just so you guys

If you wanted to talk about the elderly, you should have called last week, when our pet care show was airing, but we were taping the elderly show.

Yeah that was incredibly weird.

I was kinda wondering the same thing. Shame if these are going to remain a week behind. This is like the pre-taped call in show sketch on Mr. Show.

Spot on.

The studio version is super tame compared to the way they were playing it live up to that point, if I remember correctly. I remember seeing them play it on was it maybe Austin City Limits? I know there were two acts and the other was Sonic Youth. And it fucking rocked. Then I heard the studio cut and was underwhelmed.

I love that the broom closet is boarded up on subsequent playthroughs after it boots you back to the beginning. One of the only games (Portals 1 and 2 aside) that constantly scolds the player. Love it.

I've now listened to it all the way through about 5 times, and my high opinion of it stands! I can see myself going back to this one in a way I haven't done w any of their records since AGIB.

I love Being There a lot, but also think you could trim it down to one disc and make it near-perfect. As it stands, there's a bit too much filler in there for me to regard it as highly as the other 3.

I love both The White Stripes and his solo output, but this review is spot on, and frankly the letter grade is a little generous. I took one look at the track list for this and struggled to understand why it exists.

I think all 3 in a row makes for one of the best consecutive runs in rock-n-roll history. They're three near perfect records, delivered back to back. After that, it was hard for anything to live up, frankly. For me, this one hits closer than just about anything they've done in 10+ years.

I'm about halfway through this and loving it so far. I have always preferred my Wilco quiet and contemplative. IMO, they haven't topped Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, although I do like it when they rock as well. And I do love A Ghost is Born.

I'd imagine it just takes their team some time to get all of the night's programming up for VOD, whereas the live stream is just an ongoing thing. Most of these services offer nothing at all until the next day, so I'm happy FX does offer the live streaming option, even if they are a bit stingy with their VOD offerings.

That appears to be the case. I went to watch again on their website last night and had the same thing happen.

Odd, I watched it live on my AppleTV app.

It was actually "since Trayvon Martin was shot."

I'll admit that Family Guy has left me prejudiced against it from day one. I've tried with a couple episodes. I think the animation style being so similar certainly doesn't help.

He did the US version of Distraction what, 12 years ago? He's been performing and touring in the US for nearly as long. I would think he's pretty familiar with American culture by now, including Ann Coulter. I pay as little attention to US politics as possible, and I'm still vaguely familiar with how awful she is.

Same. I watched it just because it was the only thing on while waiting for more Simpsons. Acknowledging, even as a child, that it wasn't a very good show. And yet I remember so much of it.

It is! Good call. That place will always be "Murder Mike's" to me, though.
