As someone who owns a 1960s car...
Dodge just got parts, but my family is down two cars of you include the Corvair.
Street legal dragsters have been done:
Put some batteries an electric motor to give it a 10 mile range and classify it as a “hybrid” for emission purposes. Side effect: noise regulations are satisfied as the engine doesn’t run.
Sadly, it could be worse..
I agree. Plus you get these to end bench races.
I’m okay with that.
No.
This, start with some vintage races then take it on the rally circuit. Herbie vs WRC. The next sequel? Herbie goes Loco and takes on the Baja 1000. Because seriously? That is FEASIBLE!
I wanna be around during the sentencing of this one.
US-90 or I-10? I-90 doesn’t come within 500 miles of Louisiana.
Can we meet in the middle?
The use of coupe to describe a car with four doors annoys me. It’s like if I wanted to sell a desktop PC with the “image” of a laptop so I advertised it as a “stationary laptop” while being exactly a normal desktop.
I’ve actually had a guy locally who will help me. I just haven’t had a free enough weekend to get it down to them. They’re just about 10 miles away.
My Corvair currently. The gear oil leak from the transmission input seal was too bad, so over the winter I pulled the drivetrain, got a diff resetup, put all new seals in. Put a new fan bearing on. Now it leaks engine oil massively. I’m talking two strokes use much less oil. I’ve replaced the oil cooler seals, still…
You can thank Mercedes Benz for this. They were the ones whom when they finally decided to sell in the US didn’t want to compete with existing importers.
Megatrack
Bitch, please.
To the question of “what did I check craigslist for just after posting this”, yes.
