Just rewatched the first Alien, and the acid blood is only mentioned in relation to the facehugger, which makes one wonder if the acid blood was originally intended only for the facehugger so it coyldnt be interuppted in its incubation period. That is why i just skip over Aliens when i rewatch these, because no little girls were autopsied and the hero is content at the end. 

You make that sound like it was a good thing.

Since when are the alien sequels supposed to be horror films? Aliens sure wasn't.

Benjamin Button was inherently flawed because only the French could dig something so existentially nihilistic and hopeless. Best to shut the movie off after the scene of de-aged Brad Pitt.

Spielberg’s situation doesnt even count because he was in the right place at the right time for a director to leverage so much back end action after Jaws and Close Encounters. He gets more just for directing than most do for directing amd producing combined. Then you factor in the movies where he is a producer are…
