Hey! Another reason to go see Deadpool 2!
Hey! Another reason to go see Deadpool 2!
Remember when there was a time when studios would just be happy to eventually make their money back on the third or forth run of the film 2 years after release? I mean, it was 15 years before I was born, but still...
That was my “Devoid of Nuance” take, by the way. Thought you’d appreciate my bluntness.
I’ll do you one better: I’m never seeing it.
But there all garbage? 3 garbage movies a year being treated like they’re gold is about two too many....
why can’t I hate both smart guy?
MCU movies are a kettle and Cameron is the pot.
Personally I find the phrase “Cultural Gatekeeper” far more noxious than the concept itself. Sounds like another label you like to put on things to dismiss them.
Hmm... I like when I don’t see all of a movie, gives me a reason to watch it again when it comes out on home video. And I don’t think I can think of a single film that was more important than my own physical comfort. Plus sitting down is literally a pain in the ass for longer than 40 minutes (and boring as fuck too)…
I really dont understand this philosophy. You know you can see the movie again, right? And 9/10 times you arent missing anything whatsoever.
Maybe if we had actually gotten those personal jetpacks in the 60's everyone now wouldn’t be so enamored of people in shiny costumes flying around the sky and learning life lessons about teamwork.
To get in their good graces it is always advisable to bring some Frog Legs and a hunk of Brie.
I just want to thank you all for watching this.... so I don’t have to....
yeah, sorry, didn’t see that you were the same person I was already replying to on another post. Yeah, it comes down to taste.
I think so, but that could have been any of 4 dozen folksy law enforcement bit players sprinkled throughout the King bibliography...
I’ve been at least 5 different people in a dream before and I usually dont’ remember the shift in perspective until after I wake up (if I’m lucky enough to remember the dream for longer than 30 minutes after waking).
Ok “morons” was a bit harsh. I’ll substitute “The Undiscerning Film-goer” and “People who read comic-books instead of actual books”.
Hey, give credit where it is due... I ALWAYS try to find a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Better Buzz, or La Costa Coffee Roasters before I settle for Starbucks... I just don’t expect any actual COFFEE or Caffeine in the drink any longer...
I remember it had Michelle Rodriguez and that skinny weird dude from Dodgeball and Grandma’s Boy. And Ike Clanton from Tombstone.
I’m trying to think of a movie that made me sad I didn’t exist in the world of that movie... hmmmm.... nope, that was the job of VH1, E!, and sometimes MTV (Why Can’t I go to Carnival with Brooke Burke?!?!?)
