Quite frankly I had the coolest bridal shower ever. One of my former teachers called up my maid of honor and asked if she could throw me a bridal shower. The guests were my past teachers. The only other person there my age was my maid of honor.

But in Wicked they start as silver and become ruby once enchanted. So those audience members aren't paying much attention!
Works like this is the world of theatre (fine arts in general really...) too. Of my professors two had fold out cots in their offices and one a futon. You'd hit the last few weeks before opening of a show and everyone was sleeping at the theatre. I would sleep on the cutting table in the costume shop- nice and…
I just informed my husband that I want to go to this. He laughed.
Needs more auto-tune...
Same here, everything fit me off the rack- it was amazing!
I did the exact same thing when dress hunting. My two "rules" were it must have sleeves/strap and no sweetheart neckline. The dress I bought and wore was a strapless, sweetheart!
Growing up I had a cat that loved to be vacuumed. He was a tad bit scared by the sound so we would put the vacuum on one side of a door and leave it cracked enough to pull the hose attachment through. He would stretch out and let us go to town. It was a nice way of removing shedding hair.
My mother teaches reading to 7th-9th graders. Yes, that’s right, these are kids who have made it to 7th, 8th, and 9th grade without being able to read (for the most part, she has a couple students every year who think it is "cool" to be stupid and plan on dropping out of school asap).
I completely agree with you. I remember stating I would never read Kafka again after having to read him in 7th grade. I was assigned Kafka in college and was pleasantly surprised! Hey, I like this!
I pretty much just did that exact move down the hallway to tell my husband about this!
My point is that I would not have felt as secure in my environment. I’m sure there are men who would make the same statement. I wasn’t, in any way, trying to start some strange gender war with that comment.
I think, for some women, having a place like Curves is good. They can go there and not have to worry about feeling like they have to look good for the men- it can be a bit of a safe haven for exercise. I don’t have a problem with it existing. I don’t find a problem with some things being gender specific. I lived in a…
It is 16 in Arkansas (AR).
It may become my new go-to baby present for geeky friends! I currently give handmade Star Wars finger puppets.
Less enjoyable. It's nice, but nothing amazing. I'm all about penetration, and doggy is my absolute fav!
I am in complete agreement with you.
I already have plans to go to the fabric store this weekend, I think I may pick up supplies to make a K-9 purse. So cute!!
So what happens if I don't? Will I lost the ability to comment in a week or will I just always have a reminder telling me to convert my account?
My last name falls into the changed during immigration category. It is a French name that was "Americanized" by the border official. The story I was told by my in laws was that two brothers were coming in together and each of the brother’s last names were spelled different during immigration, so there are two…
