I asked this same question to my uncle who is flies these planes for a living:

A tongue in cheek joke... When you are in the flare (raising the nose just before touchdown in an airliner in order to arrest your descent rate), it shouts “retard, retard” referring to the thrust levers.

True, I would still say that it is they furthest departed from its road going counterpart in comparison to the other GTLM cars.

Fuck Chris Bangle with a large rusty stick.

Something, something, Titanic, something!

Yeah, but that was funny and not dangerous.

Something the size of a squirrel? If it does, you’re doing it wrong. Unless it gets caught up in the spokes or the chain, far more likely will be the rider overreacting and causing the accident all by himself, either by braking too hard or swerving too far. Ya just gotta push through that shit.

I am figuratively in shock by that

But this seatbelt is ribbed for your pleasure...

Also, quantity has a quality all of its own.

Silly rabbit, Stigs are for kids!

....because he can't touch the ground while he's on it.

Good point. The narrower the band, the more efficient a diesel can be. A large battery pack and/or capacitor can help with the hills and regenerative braking, etc. You might be able to gain a few MPG if you use a diesel-electric generator to power electric motors.

Yeah I get that. I just don't like the current suggestions from within the BBC. I'm struggling to figure out who in the UK would do well. I just think they all need to leave and start their own thing on Netflix or something.

I'd add a caveat to the tool thing. Nice tools are, well... nice, that is for sure, but when you need certain tools only very rarely, I feel that it is totally OK to cheap out sometimes. I once read on a Miata forum, in regards to cheap tools, specifically Harbor Freight and the like, a great way to look at it is you

Two observations. Usually when fake playing an instrument, the actual instrument you're fake playing is in the song. His guitar solo was like pantomiming a saxophone solo over AC/DC.

Secondly, my girlfriend walked in on me watching that, and porn would have been easier to explain and a bit less embarrassing.

And if you park on Ferrari in there, the whole thing will light up faster than the Hindenburg.

It's also the thing that separates a hobbyist hack like me from a real welder. I can make something look tolerable on a bench with plenty of room (usually), but being able to do a multi-pass weld upside down and backwards in a mirror and have it pass a UT or RT is just shy of magic.

Well you gotta hand it to that Honda...it managed to make it up that hill on its own accord.

I kind of get that attitude from Brits in many areas.
