I don’t really do hugs. I might go for “air hugs” if I know you, but if I’ve only met you twice before, I DON’T KNOW YOU. And people in the lifestyle/fashion blogging world REALLY DON’T GET IT. Neither does my husband’s family.

Come to think of it, I was double Starbucksed at least once. They wrote Sesilea (or something weird like that). #deadserious

Starbucksed!

NO one escapes being “Starbucksed,” EVER. Not even celebs. And being Starbucksed doesn’t necessarily mean name typos. I’m Cynthia, but I’ve been called Cecilia or Sylvia.

HGTV Canada doesn’t have an app.

This is exactly why network TV is mostly watched by old people. As I’ve said before, I have cable for the following reasons: Food Network (because I don’t always want to wait a day), HGTV and financial news (yeah, yeah, there are apps for that, but sometimes, I want to watch interviews). I also watch a bit of PBS here

Who cares about network TV? 99.9999999% of what I watch is on some specialty cable channel (e.g. Food Network, HGTV, finance channels) or Netflix.

Can’t edit anymore, but here’s Wikipedia’s definition of “astronaut.”

Your Asian stereotype is what I would probably consider “real.” I personally didn’t know anyone who was in a “real” gang of any kind, but there were some kids who dressed like they were in one and tried to talk “tough.” However, I knew they were from “good” families/neighbourhoods. You know, a decent sized house in

Very interesting. I knew there were gangsta-y Asians, but in my world, they’re (usually) faking it and would NEVER survive in a REAL gang.

Wasn’t there a TV movie made about this many years ago?

Where I come from, “good” = “less poor.” Doesn’t really have anything to do with race. Typically, though, “good” = 15-30%+ Asian (or rather, Chinese, Korean, Indian and some Japanese (I live in Toronto, the ethnic Japanese population isn’t as big), remaining white.

Lemme guess, the Asian high school = specialized STEM school? #stereotypes #wondering

I know that part of town very well - I went to school there. It’s not as old money as, say, Rosedale, according to some people. Forest Hill skews more “ethnic” in some parts (read: Jewish).

Drake didn’t EXACTLY grow up middle class. I heard he spent part of his childhood in a more blue collar part of the city. However, this was probably the result of his parents’ split (single mom = harder to live in a middle-middle class neighbourhood). I know he went to high school in one of the most affluent parts of

You have yearbook proof. Just post a picture.

If you’re willing to splurge, there’s The Little Bra Company. They start at a 28 band.

Bralettes are stretchy. Moreso than a sportsbra.

This isn’t an excuse for her racist attitude, but maybe she didn’t know what a Caribbean accent sounded like? You DID say she’s an immigrant herself.

They’re making a comeback? I remember kids taking them to school and their Tamagochis going off in class and in chapel. They weren’t supposed to come along to chapel, of course, but you can’t have them die, either! :P I think I was slightly too old for one. I was already 16 or 17 when they were big.
