LOL....Get a hard copy album just so you could show it off-show it off. Hehehe

36 years old. Married. One (don’t worry, I slept with my (now) husband before we got married - or even engaged - so I’m not some crazy prude). I used to lie and say five because it just because it doesn’t sound normal.

Working class whites never had “real” high status. They were workers, just like everyone else. Even if they lived comfortably, they weren’t the executives. They weren’t running things.

But the people who support Trump never really had “supreme” privilege to begin with. Lower income/middle income (white) people have SOME power, but they aren’t Wall Street. A (multi-generational) wealthy, white, Protestant male has MUCH MORE power than these guys. I always tell people that those who support Trump

The line “Is this NORMAL??!!!!!!” will forever be in my head. Nominate her too. There are a few I had in mind who are by our standards, not PC, but they were from a different time...

Wait, they got engaged after JUST THREE MONTHS? Was it THAT GOOD? And does she know it isn’t...you know...all...REAL?

How much would Jennifer Hudson cost?

I wonder how much of this comes from OTHER WOMEN/whether the stats are even higher if we include other women.

I heard this was partly because written Korean came relatively “late” - it wasn’t developed until the 1400s and until then, the “educated” all read/wrote in Chinese. Therefore, they had to develop something quickly and relatively easy to learn - even for adults.

And Canadians. To make matters crazier, “public” school in Canadian is (nearly) synomous with elementary school. It’s used interchangeably in some circles.

Chapel was also a place to catch up on sleep (just don’t get caught).

Actually, chapel (at least where I went) is where all the “fun” happens - skits, announcements, presentations. My alma mater sometimes had presentations on various holidays and celebrations the representing the student population (e.g. Chinese, South Asian, middle eastern, Jewish) and CHAPEL was where I learned about

Most schools like that have mandatory chapel requirements (mine did and there were several Jewish and Muslim kids - especially in the upper grades). Besides, it’s not like they force you to convert.

As a Canadian, I agree. I often feel that Americans seem to ignore the fact that class/education has a huge role to play in diversity issues - probably why Asians are often left out of the picture (as many more of us are “middle class.”)

Anyone can be “posh” to another person. While I’m decidedly “normal” to people I grew up with, I could be “posh” because I went to private school and had piano lessons as a child to some, but pure trash because my parents are immigrants to others.

Aren’t there a good number of foreign, non-white students at “posh” UK boarding schools now? Namely middle eastern and Chinese kids?

I wonder what it’s like to be a disadvantaged kid attending a “posh” school. Does he/she resent the fact that he/she “can’t” have certain things because of his/her socio-economic background? Suppose half the kids in his or her class is getting the latest and “greatest” tech gadget courtesy of the parentals. He/she

Why are people who work in blue collar jobs always seen as “regular people,” while those with office/white collar positions aren’t? So we aren’t “normal?”

Kimmy is kind of creepy too, if you REALLY think about it. If the Tanners had any boys and she was constantly after one of them, she’d be a female Steve Urkel.

I’m East Asian. I naturally have “double eyelids.” Now, if I were an well-known actress and cast to play someone historical who had SINGLE lids, would it be more or less the same thing? What if people don’t care? Or does it MATTER MORE when it happens in the black community?
