But still, he was instrumental. And so shouts to Djerassi, who went up on a Friday, for allowing cis, straight women the opportunity to enjoy sex without only thinking about how they might be making a baby.

We weren't supposed to wear make-up while in school uniform, and the Lipsmackers gave JUST enough colour to get away from being yelled at! Probably why I have an obsession with Fresh's Lip Sugar (favourites are Honey (which I also have in gloss form), Ruby and Berry) and all the other tinted balms out there!

I thought Kate Spade Saturday was way too young-looking for me and I really didn't know where it fit in. I like mainstream Kate Spade - to a certain extent. I can't wear the A-line skirts because they're too overwhelming for me, for example (same reason why I can't wear Pink Tartan - they're kind of similar in style

Why would someone get brewed coffee and then add a shot of espresso to it? I understand doing that with chai, but brewed/drip coffee? Wouldn't it be more economical to get a double Americano?

Don't get Crazy Coffee Lady. If she goes to Starbucks enough, then she would know that it's a cafe latte or just plain LATTE. WTF is a coffee latte? A misto? And "just like Starbucks" could mean anything. I mean, Tall? Grande? Venti? What kind of milk? #nuts

Gap owns Intermix now, right? I'm wondering if they just want to work on expanding something even higher end.

But Midori is a legit name in Japanese, unlike Nutella is in France.

Had my make-up done at MAC. Left looking like one of their ads. 'Nuff said.

That's why I said "religion, FOR THE MOST PART." People there are mostly Roman Catholic or Evangelical Protestant (Wikipedia says it's about 80% Christian, compared to 63.7% in Canada), and both TEND to lean on the pro-life side of things.

Religion, for the most part.

But the baroness was a bitch and hates kids.

Christopher Plummer was my first celebrity crush. I was 3 1/2 when I saw The Sound of Music for the first time. :)

My husband thinks she's a bit...robotic (how she moved her arms, etc...)

Was at our opera company's upcoming season announcement the other day. A fellow petite lady joked to me about sitting behind an average to tall guy and not being able to see. Dude could have been more polite about it - or kept it to himself. As for opera itself, I think you're going to see more and more non-white

It's completely unlady-like to make comments like this. Sorry, but I don't buy that it comes from a more "traditional" crowd. If people really feel that way, they would keep it to themselves and NOT air it on social media. #justsayin

The eyes..... *SIGH*

I was in a women-only residence at a co-ed school. The floor I lived in was very tiny, with only one bathroom, so whenever there's a guy visiting, a resident would ask whether someone was in there and if the coast was clear, he'd go in (with her standing outside of the bathroom, letting anyone know that a guy was

I don't get why single use bathrooms aren't gender neutral to begin with.

actually, in a way, it IS a #firstworldproblem. In many parts of the world, safe bathroom issues apply to EVERYONE, not just transgendered people.
