I wish I knew to ignore them when they said “play on hardcore if you played the original” fuuuuck that.

The only useful tip for people who played the original is the #15 about Red9, and maybe #10.

Some songwriters do a lot of work and there are a few who’ve had pop hits but also do film and TV. (Or they move from one to the other, etc.) Adam Schlesinger (RIP) went from Fountains of Wayne to Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Paul Williams wrote for Barbara Streisand and the Muppets, it happens.

Counterpoint: The Monkees!

I still can’t figure out how anyone thought Shallow from A Star Is Born was anything other than trite pap.  Yet in the movie every time someone heard it they were enraptured.  It’s a boring, shallow (sorry) ballad sung by someone with a great voice.

I don’t think it was smart of them to make a Patti Smith song their theme because the credits are honestly the part I look forward to the most on the show

In fairness that’s always what Star Wars was: the desert planet, the space station planet, the ice planet, the swamp planet, the cloud planet, the forest planet... It wasn't until Episode I that we finally saw a planet with two distinct biomes (Naboo).

Fascinating. I thought Franco was method. He was absolutely believable in that.

Will Smith tried to add an action sequence once, but it was poorly choreographed and everyone kinda lost their minds over it.

Heh. Awkward. (This is the part where everyone stays mum because we all just assumed those lead dancers WERE South Asian ;)

I have no comment on this specific issue, but I have always found the Oscars overwhelmingly boring. When are they gonna fix that?

My father gave the same speech at my wedding.

Wait tho... the actual performers felt they didn’t have time to prepare and the choreographer selected dancers they were familiar with that were coincidentally non south-asian.... What did they want to happen here? It sounds like the options they would have preferred was either thrusting indian dancers into an

Seriously. Take a day off.

In the end, the only real judge of this performance is the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

What I really like about Pineapple Express is that the characters get along when they're high but really dislike each other during the brief moments that they sober up.

It probably helps that they were hella baked when they filmed that one

Hahaha. What? Cox had way over sixty screen credits before Super Troopers (that does not include theater). He had been an established working character actor for almost thirty years (beginning his professional career in 1965).

Just awful. He was a huge talent and made everything he was in better. I’ve been re-watching Fringe lately and it wouldn’t have been the show it was without him. He was such a pro and it showed.  This is hard news.

Are there really just those 2 kinds of people?
