I never knew that, but I couldn’t stop thinking that reading the book.

It seemed in the first trailer they were going to lean into more of a stylized look, and the whole project would follow suit, and be like a living cartoon. But some of the gameplay has it look like one foot in, one foot out.
Most of K-Jah intact. Love driving around, doing horrible things set to reggae. The nostalgia is real
It crossed my mind. That whole thing was shot in a creepy way too
Good catch. The Shakespeare is strong with this one, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intentional.
On that note, I thought Tom’s speech to Greg perfectly summarized his own emasculation in such a perfect way. He can only project onto Greg his own insecurities in his relationship. The whole “Nero” story he tells Greg is his own and he might not even see it. His relationship to Shiv and the Roy family has potentially…
That’s pretty true to Rockstar’s MO in the past, though. Each new GTA rarely gives us any gameplay footage before it’s released. It’s usually just a story trailer.
I wouldn’t ordinarily be excited except that Castlevania somehow managed to be great—halfway due to clever writing of Warren Ellis--but at least Shankar seems to have a good eye for people who can deliver
me too
A big part of the frustration was that if you failed those, you had to go all the wa back to a hospital before the cutscene. I’m sure they’ll just give you a retry prompt, which, while still frustrating, will decrease controller throwing by about 80%
preach! It’s the era of personality-less, reasonably-talented-but-not-artistically-exciting white guys
Yeah, SF would make so much more sense, and to my knowledge, has only been recently touched by Watch Dogs 2.
No one asked for it. Disney asks the questions here, like “how many people streamed Toy Story 3”
yeah he was dog shit
well done
Hate to judge but I’ve always thought Munn very obviously narcissistic and one note in interviews. More forgivable in her early 20s as it went with the job, but she still kinda banks on that geek queen image.
That’s the most maddening part for me. This guy repeatedly gets called a genius and compared to Baldwin(?!) when his last few specials felt like he was explaining his own dumb jokes. And because his pace is so slow (sooo slow) and conversational, it’s not entirely clear what’s half assed commentary and what’s just…
Female led John Wick clones are doing really well right now. Not sure if your comment was sarcastic but putting a woman or POC in a traditional white guy’s leading role seems to be very popular.
Yeah it’s a very dumb script and baffling so after TDK’s fairly decent one. It would have been so much fun if it took itself less seriously but I just don’t think Nolan is capable of doing that, for all his strengths
Skyfall was too showy, sentimental and meta, and Spectre tried to carry on those trends and failed harder.
