Yep. This would have benefitted 100% from being cell shaded or retro inspired. The realism just makes it worse

I’m constantly amazed by Rockstar’s inability to make their controls responsive and fun. They actually double down on it in RDR2 for “art”’s sake, and it’s what holds me back from actually playing through it again

This movie seemed like it would be a Fury Road for the zombie genre from the trailers but goddamn it was boring and in Snyder fashion all the best moments happen in a slo-mo montage intro

Rogue One is easily the best since the Original trilogy. And it is flawed as hell and has some of the corniest fan service, but still nails the “pulp sci-fi war movie with martial arts” better than any sequel or SOLO

That diner scene was super cringe also bc it was literally just a DINER. Even the cook wearing a grubby white t-shirt? It’s the least imaginative location this side of the casino planet from TLJ, which was literally just a casino down to the craps tables

was a big fan of the ps2 Ratchets, especially GC, and thought the ps3/4 era was good but not pushing the envelope in any way. But this looks like they’ve learned from their time makign Spider-man and Sunset overdrive and applied some new ideas in the Ratchet-verse. Makes me want a ps5 now!!

i gotta say, I haven’t played a Ratchet game in ages and was not hyped for this one but damn it, I think they’ve done it. This looks pretty rad

One thing I could see Marvel doing is a Battlefield-type game where the normal grunts are SHIELD/HYDRA and heroes can drop in randomly, so any kind of super soldier characters would work

I’m telling you, with high-paid personal fitness trainers who are on your ass constantly and measuring BMI and vitamins for a year. Yes you could get there if it was all you had to do that year to prep for a role. It’s mostly aesthetics and weight loss
