As per usual in Gawker and other media outlets, they failed the quote the whole post...most important of which was the disclaimer. If you have no idea of what the FTC or BBB are supposed to function as, I suggest not posting anything related to this topic. If you do - go for it. As for tax dollars being used for

Welcome to my every day.

Quick, get Project Wildfire online, RIGHT NOW!

If I had the chance to change my feet?

I never read the books, but didn't it turn out to just be a hoax (the character Kevin Spacey portrayed - apt name aside - was mentally ill and had killed his family)? Sorry for any spoilers, but if you haven't seen it by now, you probably aren't going to!

Who said that the "left" had to be the "HG is a copy of BR", and not the "right"? I'll step any which way I choose, and have obviously "done my research" (if reading the manga and owning the dvds for the BR, and owning the books for HG and reading interviews from the author counts as such).

Considering at how little BR is known in non-Japanese societies, I didn't want to add that fact. I own the manga (not the book), and agree that BRII wasn't that good.

I'm not sure why everyone hates on the first movie. I didn't think it was bad at all. It wasn't superb, but there have been far worse films out in the past few years than that. The original wasn't bad either (although it WAS slow, and I don't recommend watching it late at night, lest you fall asleep). We never

Sorry for not replying sooner! But if you're curious...here's a YT link to the "preview" of the episode: [www.youtube.com]

I think everyone should just go watch the films that Collins blatantly stole the idea from: Battle Royale. Sure, the perspectives of each work are different (BR: multiple students; HG: one student), but still - she just took it and added some stuff here, changed some stuff there, etc.

I've actually got a signed print of image #1 and image #4 (although it's just the right side, the left side isn't in the original image). I've been a "fan" of Asakawa Ran for years, and like the noob stalker that I am, hunted down and was admitted (rare for gaikokujin, but I guess it helps to speak Japanese fluently

I have the same line of thought on this. Although I'll probably get flamed for it, the [new] Battlestar Galactica (and I guess the movie "Knowing", at least the end) have merit in their mythos.

And reporting them does nothing? It's a damned shame that people don't stand up to that shite.

That sounds suspiciously like what happened in an episode of House, M.D...

Amen!

I agree. I penetrate my wife all the time while she's asleep, because she often doesn't want to do it when we're awake, usually because the kids are up and my wife sleeps early. I'm a night-owl, and "pillage her village" at least a few times a week without her consent. Sometimes I tell her, sometimes I don't. If I

Matt: "But you told me that if I was good, Santa Skitter would bring me a Mech for the holidays!"

So...what gave them the idea to actually start testing this out? "Oh hey, let's put that sausage with teeth to the test" ::drops in vat of acid:: "Hot damn, it swims, Jim!"

You must read The Art of Manliness, or perhaps it was a tip from a reader who does. Brett sent out his newsletter with tips on surviving avalanches this morning: [artofmanliness.com]

As far as I know, Kepler 22b hasn't been confirmed to be "rocky".
