Yeah. I did google that fact before posting and saw about 1000-1200 psi to lacerate, and ski snowmaking systems running up to 400 psi. SO doubtful. But could tear your shitty snowpants apart and still not feel so great.

If you fell right onto the spray, it might be at high enough pressure to cut through your clothing and really hurt your skin. Not a great plan lol.
At least walk along the damn road. He went bushwhacking in the dark in a blizzard? yikes.
Sure. But it also sounds like they didn’t really do a proper search.
Good lord was that handled poorly. Where the FUCK was ski patrol to radio with the lift operators? Only one or a few chairs at most should have been pushed through the geyser. The stop/start operation just blasting more riders.... must have been absolutely horrific to await your turn, just knowing some 17 year stoner…
Not to mention the soot accumulation. After a month of chinese freight trucks cruising through here, the LEDs will be barely visible.
Almost nailed godwin’s law.
First of all, what the fuck, no the arctic ice cover is not going to be record high. Second, jesus christ man just use your brain a tiny bit. The planet is clearly warming, the data is freely available. Argue about why if you really need to to troll us, but pretending its not even happening is just so idiotic.
You didn’t know about that Nikola v Tesla lawsuit? Jalop probably covered it a dozen times, dude. Do your god damn job.
Sure, downtown is “fun and hip” or whatever. This AMC plant isn’t anywhere near downtown. Just a shabby outer detroit hood.
No way, I live in a pristine chunk of woods (45 mins from detroit). I grew up in Manhattan, wiping the grime off my face whenever we came inside the apartment. No thanks, never again.
Oh please. Most of Detroit is just residential housing that has never been anything else.
Theoretically, sure, but the area is rough, so there would be no demand.
I’m just old enough that I went to a meeting for my supplier with the Jeep truck guys in this building, early in my engineering career, before Chrysler (DCX at the time, I believe?) moved out. There were some lovely, well preserved wood paneled offices in there. Most of the generic office space was a shit show of…
You really think the car wasn’t strapped down during transport? C’mon. The dang parking brake wasn’t on, it was obviously unstrapped before the vid starts.
good to know. That sounds kinda terrible (plate stays with car). Here in michigan, if you dont keep your plate clean in the winters, it corrodes within 4-6 years. I wouldn’t want someone elses shitty old plate.
Or just drive the car home without plates on it, and then go to the DMV and get new ones, or transfer your old ones. meh.
My understanding is that the auto scanners first just run the plate number to see if any registration, insurance or criminal activity comes up as associated with it, then probably flashes an alarm at the cop. But if the plate itself is “clean”, the officer probably has to notice that its not the correct car listed.…
Yeah, well drat, man. I don’t usually think of Michigan as a freedom-loving state, but these kind of small anecdotes about the tribulations of living on the coasts do start to add up over time.
