The bronco sport is really just an all wheel drive crossover anyway.

WAT. No way. By the end of the MK4, the 1.8T was reliable. The 6-spd trans was good. The chassis was always great, and the electronics were finally decent. Then the 2.0L in the Mk5 was a disaster, the interior was a bland slab of plastic, and the fenders rusted more easily in our northern states.
Usually its not “hit a button”, it’s mash the gas pedal suddenly, and hold at 100%, that induces the most smoke on tuned diesels. Which is part of what makes it so incredibly reckless and dangerous a thing to do at defenseless bicyclists.
So dedicated to trying to poison all these innocent cyclists just for laughs, that he nearly kills them all through incompetence. American teenagers can be the absolute worst.
Do you mean to imply that everyone on earth could just easily see a comet coming at us at hundreds of thousand of miles per hour or more, with any sort of time to do something productive about it? Yeah, no.
Huh. Wonder who the market is for a car like this. Why make all these compromises, and drive a death machine, just for it to be slow? Also, it’s not even close to cheap. Weird vehicle.
This is true. Or more correctly, people have different tastes, and thats ok. If all 476 people who want to pay 50k for a rebadged bmw think its beautiful, then thats simply wonderful for them.
Damn, great suggestion here. I wish I could just blow 50k on a toy, this is how I would go. But manual trans, obvi.
He didn’t say that people criticized it just because of how it looks on the internet. It looks ugly both on the internet, and in person. I’ve seen a few, pretty unfortunate.
Well, sounds like you and me both would. I don’t get it either.
What? no. That email was from ford corporate. The dealers are tacking on the market adjustments, not ford. The dealers were likely very reluctant to get a final, total price in writing for any of these reservation holders, because it would prevent them from doing this very thing now.
Eh, no one should be surprised. Dealers are greedy bastards, and consumers who must be at the front of the line for this kind of trendy garbage are total suckers. Don’t come on the internet and expect any sympathy for an 8% surcharge on your expensive new toy, cause we don’t really give a fuck.
Which is literally half of new cars now. It’s not that big a deal though, I finally learned you don’t try to remove it, you just wipe _over_ it with some armor all, or better yet a “black plastic/trim” restorer, etc.
Huge “duh” on the vertical phone pad. Your phone is going to tip right over every time to punch the gas. Idiots!
A small generator is ~2000 watts. The ford can do 7200. My 6800 watt standalone generator is a few hundred pounds, not at all possible to lift into a truck bed or convenient to move around. Can barely wheel the damn thing up to the house when we have power outages.
Did you guys try just putting the car in reverse and backing off of it? My buddy and I used to push carts around with his beater in high school. Definitely rode up onto some of them; always able to just back off.
Why the hell would we want that?!? These 4 saps used a million pounds of fuel to get into space, just to take some cool selfies. Space tourism is an abomination of carbon emissions that only serves to accelerate the death of our only survivable planet.
Exactly. Easy to maintain yourself at home, and way more fun to drive everyday.
Kind of a stretch for one unfortunately timing chain tensioner design to cause you to say that “the car” was poorly engineered. The chassis, interior, design, features, all excellent. Problematic engine components suck, though.
Oh the horrors, a rattle sound and an easy fix on a coil pack? I had 3 Mk4s, none of the windows ever had an issue. Hundreds of thousands of miles. To be fair, I intentionally avoided the first couple years of the new generation, as one should probably do from any manufacturer. I can’t argue with you that a Toyota…
