Its rather amazing how much engineering effort is being spent on boutique electric play toys like this, instead of actually useful vehicles that could help humanity.

Hmmm.... very possible. lol

Yes, this could work nicely.

Man, folks, if you’re city wont listen to your needs, just do it yourself.  Commercial grade speed bump products are only like $100.  On a nice calm sunday morning, drill that fucker 12" into the road bed with stainless lag bolts, and see who wants to actually do anything about it.

To me it’s a better argument to just nudge a few stubborn people out of their remaining homes and close the damn street altogether.  There are literally hundreds of near-empty streets in detroit... can’t speed-bump them all

Huh? Why not sue the driver doing double the limit whose reckless actions caused the injury? Do you know how many near empty streets there are in detroit like this? The city can’t possibly afford to put speed bumps on every single one of them

Yeah it’s BS.  Basically just an excuse for a broke ass city to limit how much work and spending they need to do.

Skill, for sure, as the fork lift surely had at least 42" long forks. I’m fork truck licensed here at work. You place the pallet as far in as you can, back up, tilt up the rear, and slide it forward. If it’s really stubborn (high friction), you might have to line up a fork with the wood member of the pallet to get a

Why couldn’t they push it forward?  Thats awful.

Seriously. Just take the gloves off, compliment the car, what’s next? He has no fear (actual brain condition).

It might be damn near totaled.

Yep.

Sucks. I had sort of assumed that most of british columbia was rainforest. Turns out the coastal area is, and very high altitude spots further east gets lots of precip, but the areas on fire are generally dry locales.

Atrocious. Seems an emergency injunction is needed to shut the plant down until the emissions can be brought under control.

I also noticed a complexion based reason to doubt the prevalence of mullets.

It’s a curvaceous fridge, though.

Yeah, the EPA highway cycle is very outdated. They putzed around the rural roads around Ann Arbor MI back in the 50s/60s and then the cycle stuck as a benchmark, so it can’t be changed. Very different than current 80 mph blasting around.

Veneer-laminated cabinetry is quite lightweight, actually.  And the 2x2 wood framing in the walls is super light too.  It’s the cheapest lightweight material.  Also feels “warm” and cozy.

We shared a 90s jayco pop-up with my father in law for a couple summers. Every time we took it up north and back, something would break. He was good at fixing the lift cables. I said, fuck this, and we all agreed to sell it. Got a 20' hybrid instead (we all like sleeping in the tent beds, had to keep those).  Setup

Lol, yes, I do believe that wheels/tires and axles can be fulcrum points. Basic physics, man. If you load 8 foot long sheets into a 4 foot bed, the center of gravity of your load is behind the rear tires, which will certainly unload the front end somewhat. If you put nearly the total payload capacity at the back of
