Those are 18"s? Wow. They just look really, really small for those wheel openings. I thought you put small sidewall tires in there.

Where did your sidewall go?
Neutral: What they are saying is that “Sports Cars” used to go hand in hand with “Exotic”. You and I both know that was never the case, but a lot of people had that perception.
Unless it’s your driveway, a “Residential” space on the street that you shoveled out is good for 24 hours after the plows go by, and that’s it. Space Savers are illegal and a huge pain in the ass for people who commute to places where street parking is tight. Many cities have started removing “space savers” after 24…
You don’t have to care, but you should at least be aware of what’s going on. The industry is changing. EVs, EREVs or at the least hybrids will be a part of the majority of drivetrains in the future.
Wow. Justification for skidplates right there! Although the barbed wire wrapped around the rear axle is pretty gnarly...
I’m all in favor of this vehicle. It has a spare tire!!! Hooray!
Only the pros can use 15th gear.
Sometimes just based on age and condition, you know you want to get out of a car while it still has some “value” left - before it enters the swiss cheese phase.
Also keep in mind that used wheelchair vans are usually not being sold because the person lost their disability somewhere. They are usually being sold because repair costs on the wheelchair ramp/lift are prohibitive, or lots of other mechanical problems (the engines often spend a lot of time idling, could be a lot of…
Haven’t felt the need to do anything to the suspension, with the MPSS on there it grips very well and stays very flat in the corners. Chevy put a LOT of effort into anti-roll on the suspension without making it too stiff.
Depends how heavy the load was. If he was fully loaded downshifting alone at slow speeds on a hill that long may not be enough. If he missed a gear and got stuck in Neutral trying to downshift he may have screwed himself out of engine braking. Some transmissions don’t have syncros that will let you overcome a big…
Not only is the driver’s criminal record unrelated to the crash, but also no known safety issues with that specific truck were mentioned - just the trucking company. With many trucks on the road it’s very possible that the company has one or more ‘violations’ per month which can be anything from an improperly filled…
Nope. Call it a Cash Machine if you want.
I hate this so much. It’s an ATM. Or an AT Machine. Or something. Not an ATM Machine.
My first car was a ‘72 MG BGT that had seen better days. I gave it a rough few months of use before it died, and back then I didn’t have any idea about saving an old car. It was a LOT of fun to drive!
“Never use crappy aftermarket parts” - my mantra for the last several years. Mediocre aftermarket parts are worlds better than crappy ones, and the high end stuff or OEM replacement is even better. If there’s one thing I cannot stand it’s having a crappy aftermarket part fail too quickly. Basically, don’t shop at…
I didn’t catch that about the graphic. Is the graphic in the firmware code too? And are we sure these things (including the graphic) are new? I mean, maybe they intended all along for it to be 100 kWh but due to space constraints could only fit enough cells for 90...
Most late model GM cars use bubble flares too. So far I’ve found them on most things after ‘96-’97 or so, which includes a lot of models. I recently bought a bubble flaring kit as most stores only have a double flare kit for rent.
