I just like paying for the shorter security lines, while the plebes have to take their shoes off.
It’s not just lazy automotive design. It also leads to:
People really underestimate how fantastic a scooter is for getting around in the city. The ability to carry a full bag of groceries etc on my bike makes it the best transportation for 99% of all my trips.
True, I just think of LA especially because you can practically count the days you can’t ride on one hand. Never rains, isn’t often too hot or too cold. It amazes me there are so few people on bikes here.
The moment I bought a motorcycle was the moment I stopped caring about cars.
Disagree, I also ride in Atlanta.
I have to agree. My $5000 Aprilia Tuono can beat (almost) any $70,000+ super car. And then your #1 investment is simply good gear!
Absolutely. The bike is way more fun than any sports/super car.
Yes! I live in LA and tell people if they start riding it will literally change their life.
Dude, my thoughts exactly! I’m worried this might be a bit too late (hard to argue it’d be too little, assuming that these bikes all deliver on the performance / value front), but this is absolutely a sea change for HD.
I’m excited about the alta... but not excited about the price or range.
Perhaps when they start to make interiors you don’t have to be half blind to enjoy.
Is that engine just two of the twins in the TNT300? That would explain why they go with 4 cylinders.
A lot of “why” here.
Was excited until I read 510lbs and 67hp. Seems incredibly low for an inline 4.
I think you’re underestimating the willingness of Americans to take on large sums of debt.
I really don’t like the AV Club didn’t post any examples of the tweets. I mean, I get it; the site and its readers generally like James Gunn, and the site is completely biased against any right-leaning figure and especially the Cernovich types, but still...these tweets are legitimately bad.
This is such a fun article to read. It may have ended in failure but the journey was totally worth it.
