It’s wonderful. Obviously not as good as a full rise, but it lets you comfortably sit upright and get stuff done. Clutch jobs are easy as hell.

I LOVE it. The big up side for me was getting stuff away from the frame rails. Whenever I’m wrenching hard, I’m the guy who always ends up slamming their head into a jack stand at some point. The quickjack does not solve this, but the mini 2 post does.

Supermotos are dirt bikes with slicks. The basic premise is similar to a miata, in that the experience is all about low weight. The Street Triple is a VERY light bike at 400lbs, but my 701 is 80 lbs lighter. This lets you throw the bike around a lot more. Entry speeds can be quite a bit faster.

It is certainly not a short bike, thankfully I’m comfortable enough on one leg at lights that it doesn’t bother me (am 5'11" and cannot flat foot on it). Riding a high center of gravity bike hard takes some getting used to for sure, but the rewards are there considering how bad most of the Oregon road surfaces are.

It’s not terrible, when they work they work, but when they don’t you can spend a LOT of time tracking down the issue and you’ll throw a lot of parts at it while you go.

Have you played much with the quickshifter yet? IIRC that has one of the smoothest bidirectional quickshifters I’ve ever used.

You sure do! I’ve passed through your general area a bunch, have some family in Atwater, so that’s usually one of my overnights on trips.
