Looking at the open hood view, pretty easy to figure why there’s a hole in the hood. There’s no way in hell you’re getting anything far enough under the lip of the hood to reach the latch that’s been jammed shut by the distortion... better to go *through*.

Actually, that makes perfect sense. Not like anyone on here will buy either anyways.

God bless you. I’m at work and can’t view the video. And, regardless of where i am, i can’t stand lazy “journalism” that only links to someone else’s video and hard work.

1st Gear: Haven’t there been multiple articles on this website that the 54 mpg target was impossible to achieve and that the CAFE standards were a farce anyways?? I could be horribly wrong but iirc there were a few around this.

Well said - it sounds like you felt out the neighborhood before buying... As long as a majority of people around you have the same idea, then you should do whatever you want!

People either love them or hate them. I bought a house about two years ago - after looking at HOA vs. non-HOA properties, I can say the HOA ones were (generally) much nicer and better kept.

I’m sorry he went through that. Some HOAs are pretty chill but some are run by hard a$$es that want to wield their authority like a toddler with a marraca. Sadly, I think to move to a neighborhood that does not have a HOA will require us to move one county over, away from the strong school system we are presently

I like playing a mix tape of Slayer and Stryper to confuse and scare them enough to leave me alone.

What, you mean neighbors wouldn’t like a cranked Marshall Plexi ringing in their ears at 1:00 in the morning? Don’t they know it’s got to be loud to sound good and amp modelers are crap?

We bought a house in a neighborhood with a HOA. The next house will not have a HOA over it. Lesson learned.

Show those ignorants this the next time they ask about the oil change.

You mean no HOA would have you with a hobby and occupation like those. Lol jk, I totally understand. I am not allowed to work on my cars (not even change a tire) and kids are not allowed to play street hockey (and this is in Canada!).

And as a human.

Recently bought a new house, during our search the one thing that was a no-go was if the place had a HOA. Fuck some HOAs.

Yeah, I occasionally take out the old bullet belt too, but that one always comes off before a gig. Too heavy to jump around in!

No way, man! Most guitarists know about the “belt law”. To be cool your guitar must be lower than your studded belt. I wish I was joking, but I am well into my 30's and still wearing a studded belt every day... and I have no scratches on any of my newer guitars. My old guitars are nasty because I didn’t know the laws

You’re confusing the legit punx jacket, which was probably scored cheap at a thrift shop and has band logos painted on with white-out, with this poseur copy. You probably didn’t care if you damaged the furniture you sat down in because it wasn’t worth anything, but the person who’d pay $18K for a jacket is probably

Really? I would think the turd-burgular that pays $18k for a distressed leather jacket would probably pay $50k for a genuine Levi’s corduroy-covered loveseat stuffed with dead Chilean babies.

As someone who used to wear clothing like that, you generally don’t give a shit and none of your possessions are worth enough to worry about. Except maybe your guitar, you should probably take off the studded belt when using the guitar.

Reminds me of the definition of a musician:
