Wait, these are bad? I routinely get single digits on a 4 cylinder

What a time to be alive. I read that title and my first thought is “Why so slow?”
Weird, mine in 2006 (I think) required it. You had the three part test? Or the two?
When I took the test, there was some kind of 2-3 sentence contract that we had to copy in cursive. I specifically asked the moderator (or whatever they were called) if cursive was absolutely necessary (it was)
I’m fairly certain I had to get creative with a few of the letters too
Holy shit. I cannot believe that is still even a discussion. I took the SATs more than 10 years ago, literally the hardest part was writing out the contract thing in cursive. I had not written in cursive for about 6 years prior, I have not since.
I wish this was satire, but as a resident of Oregon I can confirm that these opinions are the norm. People here are genuinely against pumping their own gas, whether it be from fear, ignorance, or laziness it is a common sentiment. Personally, not having to wait in line only to have an overworked gas attendant pump the…
The only car that would get me into a dealership to actually spend my money on a new car does not exist. I would absolutely require the following
Does it still use that pile of dumbfuckery ej motor?
I’m playing that game right now, a little harder in Oregon though! That said, unless snow is on the ground, I’m riding as primary transportation.
The gear statement is so spot on. Been riding for 10 years, had a couple of downs in that time and got lucky with a few bumps, scrapes, and bruises. Finally got high end gear this year due to my decision to move to riding year round. Had a 30mph low side last night when I hit a patch of black ice, walked away no worse…
The emergency brake can be an invaluable tool in altering direction of travel in low traction conditions. Plus it’s fun!
Best thing to do is get actual winter tires, all seasons are the cause of most control loss on black ice. It’s why that 4x4 Ford is having so much trouble where nobody else seems to be having issue.
Am car person, dislike snow intensely. Moved across the country to get away from it.
Yup, that’s the setup I run. Music to my ears, just loud enough to hear all the noises and doesn’t drown out that addictive Triumph whistle.
Same, I went to LOADS of demo days from just about every manufacturer. Nothing actually made me pull out the wallet until the STR (though the Tuono 1100 was oh so close)
It’s such a cliche, but gawddamn that engine has some character, you combine that with a world class chassis and it’s pretty hard get any better.
It’s what sold me on the bike. Didn’t think anything would get me off my GSXR1000 fork swapped SV650n (especially after riding all the hotness that Aprilia, Ducati, KTM, and BMW had to offer)
Rode the STR, instant love, had to have one. It was the first bike I’d ridden in 5 years that made me unhappy to get back on…
