I don’t get door rattles. The thing that sends me over the edge, and all American car companies do it, is textured plastic that looks like leather. They add huge swaths of material that looks like it should be pleasing to touch, but is hard trashcan grade plastic in real life. It looks great but feels like shit.

This house screams nouveau riche deafeningly loud.

The future is looking brighter and brighter every day. Oh what a time to be alive!

It’s not about stopping crashes, they don’t care if you crash (beyond the possibility of losing an insignificant customer from a pool of millions), it’s about stopping lawsuits.

Of course they’ll have to start building in a polygraph app that uses camera and fitness tracker input to weed out the liars, I thought that was a given.

Simple, just like on GPS apps it’ll ask “Are you a Passenger?” If you lie, that shit is on you.

All the stars.

Sweet! How often do you get, “Is that a Ducati” from all the folks who think red=Ducati :) I got that all the time when I had my Fireblade

No judgement at all! The Triumph triples are just about the only thing on my list of bikes to replace the SV in case it breaks or crashes. Fell in love with those motors when I picked up a 99 thunderbird sport.

It’s a perfect combo, have an ‘03 650N and an ‘02 Z400 SM conversion

I think that might just come with ownership! I have enough spares (minus frame) that I could probably build up most of a second bike :)

Hell yeah brother! Long time rider here, been through a lot of bikes but don’t think I’ll ever get rid of my SV. Hits that perfect “Goldilocks zone” for a street-bike to me. Just the right power, weight, simplicity, and gearing to be damn near perfect in any on road application.

6 hour flight in the middle seat on a plane with a broken air handling system between two people who needed seat-belt extenders.

Yep, I’ll take my Japanese strat over most modern American ones.

Does it still come in a manual? Or have they switched exclusively to the transmission favored by the elderly and or decrepit?

People get half a lap of me being nice, then I get aggressive.

Helmets are cheap, will fit you correctly, and don’t smell like head cheese. As far as I’m concerned the only time anyone should use the rentals is their first time to see if they like it. If they do and can see themselves coming back, helmet up.

Skill and experience.

I am routinely 5 seconds or more per lap quicker on a 30 second track than people who drive timidly or have little experience.

Oh Jesus, you actually use the rentals? Gross

Thank you
