I do miss my onion belt. It was the style at the time, though. It’d cost me me five bees. #grandpasimpson .

Now playing

Hi, I’m Deal Killer. Will you be an angel to a helpless pick-up truck? Everyday, innocent trucks are abused, beaten and neglected, all in the name of “Fun”. Please, help rescue these trucks by calling 1-800-Jal-opnk., and donate what you can so all automobiles can lead a full and healthy life. Our staff provides oil

Yes! I’ve always wanted one of these!

It took me months to track down a squeak that happened going over bumps, it sounded like metal on metal, and grew worse over time. I finally found out what it was after having my son bounce on the back of the car and tracking it down. The emergency brake cable on either side of the car is held up by a simple metal

I have always liked these cars, especially the later models with the VR-6 engine. Great looks, good handling and reasonable utility for a small two door sports coupe. Everything except the mouse motor seat belts that VW installed to get around the passive safety regs of the early 1990's. Is there any way to install

Nothing wrong with the Big Box Caddy, but I’m more of a Lincoln man, myself. I’ve always felt these were just very classy in their overall look. I wouldn’t mind having one as the main family car, as it’d be big enough inside for my ever growing son.

I’m not saying it was one of the best Matchbox cars ever, but the case could be made.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll remember for my hernia surgery next week. No washing down the pain meds with Scotch. Got it.

You know what to do. You’re going to have to “nut up” and put that thing out of its, and your, misery.

Yep. I haven’t played RR3 for a couple of years, but their track layouts are very realistic.

Dogs to cars. Every day, all day. I’ll start in my neighborhood and everyone will have nice new cars instead of their constantly barking dogs. I’d have a bag of kibble in the trunk of my car just for such occasions. What would an overweight black Lab turn into? Probably a Ford F-150. The most common dog to the most

Yep, I sat in the new MX-5 hardtop convertible this weekend at the local auto show. At 6'4", I was looking at the headliner unless I hunched down in the seat.

If the current administration wanted to axe the current CAFE standards as a part of overhauling auto regulations, I’d be fine with that, if, and this is a big if, they would begin to increase the gas tax in order to influence people to more fuel efficient cars. Auto makers keeps saying there is little current demand

Oh hell, the heat shield on my Focus is held up with Zip Ties. I’m not saying they’re wrong or anything, but if you’re trying to sell your car, maybe don’t have a picture of them and a vice grip securing some piece of the mechanicals. It kind of puts people off, if you know what I mean.

Zip ties and vice grips should not be included in CL photos, if you want to sell a car. It makes me wonder what else is held together by cable ties, clamps and hope. CP.

From the CL ad, “155k miles (250km on functioning ODO)“.

Sorry, hadn’t had my morning coffee yet.

I know, I know, it’s a rare 3-series wagon, that’s shows pretty clean and well taken care of for its age. But, and you knew that was coming, $14K? A quick check on Autotrader shows at least ten newer E-series wagons, with similar or less miles for well under what the seller is asking.
