Oh hell, the heat shield on my Focus is held up with Zip Ties. I’m not saying they’re wrong or anything, but if you’re trying to sell your car, maybe don’t have a picture of them and a vice grip securing some piece of the mechanicals. It kind of puts people off, if you know what I mean.

Zip ties and vice grips should not be included in CL photos, if you want to sell a car. It makes me wonder what else is held together by cable ties, clamps and hope. CP.

I know, I know, it’s a rare 3-series wagon, that’s shows pretty clean and well taken care of for its age. But, and you knew that was coming, $14K? A quick check on Autotrader shows at least ten newer E-series wagons, with similar or less miles for well under what the seller is asking.
