I had a 1989 sedan. I’m thinking of paying this number. My favorite car ever. Put a stroker in it. The interior is a step above my Recaro’s that came with it in my opinion. Got to go and make a call.

They always forget that there is a crucial element missing. You need to have a special amulet. That amulet is called *net worth* and you need large quantities of it. Without it, the incantations will fail.
The Dodge Charger/Challenger, together with the S550 Mustang and, to a lesser extent, the modern Camaro, are the single worst things to ever happen to the car hobby, and I will not be persuaded otherwise.
Might want to hide or seek shelter. You’re going to get a slew of professional parenting coaches in here telling you how much you must hate your son letting him drive a 90s death trap.
I had a 200SX in the 90s. While it was still an economy car, it was quite fun to drive. Kinda wish Nissan would bring that back with Nismo styling and a turbo engine of some sort. I’d get one.
This is not the greatest badge engineering in the world, no
Love the “As Is” ads. They’re essentially promising you something BAD is going to happen. Not if, but when...
Tesla is probably blocking Geordi because he’s calling from an android device.
Never thought I’d be rooting for the Dominion.
I don’t know about “best”, but “concept I was most likely to buy if it made it to production” goes to the Buick Avista.
OPPO’s last day on Kinja - swing over and give us a “farewell” if you have a minute. Hope to see you at https://opposite-lock.com/ !
Oh, I know. But something inside of me died last night. I’ll still hold out hope that Biden pulls it off, but knowing for an absolute fact that near 50% of the country watched the last 4 years of unbridled hate, thuggery, division kleptocracy and vitriol from a manchild who made it all because of Daddy’s money and…
This exactly. A ton of scenarios people don’t realize that make these things handy.
In that moment, Randall stopped owning a Ford Expedition. He picked up his keys, and began gathering the supplies needed to change his status among Apache Junction’s HOA: This is a case of Keystone, a hacksaw, and years of pent up frustration.
Actually - waiting 1/2 hour for a charge can be pretty interesting. My kids see superchargers and ask if we can stop and charge, because they want to play the games. We had a power outage a few weeks ago and they piled into the car to watch Netflix. Strange times we live in.
i’ve owned my Tesla for 4 years and i’ve literally never stopped to charge it, except once or twice a year on long trips. complaining about charge times misses the point of what it’s like to own an EV. you go from 2 or more stops a week at a gas station to zero.
Well you can't tow a boat with it either. If Tesla decides they don't need to sell cars to people who drive more than 150 miles a day in February I don't think it's going to hurt their sales much.
Most people would be charging it every night, so it would never be an issue. That said, if you drive 200 miles a day for some reason I’m guessing they’d have a long range version of this, just like the others.
Reminds me of a complaint I had about that movie, when they were dead lifting that shell aft to forward, “Why didn’t they use the shell cart?”
