I owned a 2007 Focus, the lifetime air filter was a stupid idea. There is a fairly cheap and easy fix using most of the original air intake, MAF sensor and a cone air filter. It took me maybe 30-45 minutes and I was able to get rid of most of the original air filter & associated plastic pieces. You can look it up on

Europe and other markets have pedestrian safety standards. So cars sold in other markets have to meet those standards, hence the more squared off front ends & higher hoods on some cars.

Simple answer, there are no automotive pedestrian safety standards in the United States. That’s why the Cyber-Truck can be sold in the US, but not Europe. NHTSA has proposed new regulations, but they have not been approved yet.

The Ohio DMV would be staffed by non-political bureaucrats and unionized employees, so I would imagine the guy who wanted the license plate feels like the “deep state” is preventing him from expressing his wry sense of  humor. The I H8 TOL would be short for I Hate Toledo. Me? I hate Fostoria, that place is a shit

The new Dodge Hornet. Somehow, Dodge has decided a car that’s smaller than a Honda CR-V, should cost $49,000 when spec’d with AWD and a hybrid powertrain. The interior has some very nice features, but for what you get, $49K is a tough pill to swallow.

Scion XB, especially the 2nd Gen. Huge amounts of interior room, head room for days, and reliable as well.

Hmmm, thought this looked familiar.

As a person who deals with “market value opinions” on a daily basis, this car is not worth half what this guy is asking. Maybe in the mid to high $20K?? I’m just gonna leave this listing as evidence that the seller is smoking something seriously strong.

Ok, I’ll bite on the steering wheel tray, as I own one and used it quite often when I was actively appraising houses during the pandemic. Remember those times? Restaurants weren’t opened, nor could I eat my lunch in my usual areas such as Targets little cafeteria areas as they had closed those to the public as well. I

My son rocks the 90's every day he goes to school in his ‘95 200SX.

The topic is basically “what’s the best, worst car to buy a teen”. Do you want your kid to learn how to drive, or die trying? Get him/her a car with no safety features at all. Go out in a blaze of glory? Go get that hopped up Pony car and turn over the keys.

A $500 Dodge Stratus. It ain’t pretty, or clean, but it apparently runs & drives.

Just for reference, this GNX sold earlier this month, for $225,000. So, yeah, time to put your low mileage Buick GNX up on the block.

Here’s me keeping the poors off my property.

I just traded in my ‘06 Focus, which had 230,000 miles on it, for an ‘08 Focus with 98,000. My ‘06 had many, many faults, the most egregious being brakes and exhaust system, but it never failed to start or left me stranded. It was pretty easy to work on too.  And, it was surprisingly well equipped for the time. ABS

Hey, leave Toledo out of this. We’re just getting back on our feet because of Covid lock downs, and all we really want to do is get some Packo hot dogs, drink some local brew and watch the Mud Hens play some so-so minor league baseball.

Ford Ranger Splash, or GTFO..

So....

Matchbox.

Aaaannnd, it’s gone. :(
