Dogs to cars. Every day, all day. I’ll start in my neighborhood and everyone will have nice new cars instead of their constantly barking dogs. I’d have a bag of kibble in the trunk of my car just for such occasions. What would an overweight black Lab turn into? Probably a Ford F-150. The most common dog to the most

Yep, I sat in the new MX-5 hardtop convertible this weekend at the local auto show. At 6'4", I was looking at the headliner unless I hunched down in the seat.

If the current administration wanted to axe the current CAFE standards as a part of overhauling auto regulations, I’d be fine with that, if, and this is a big if, they would begin to increase the gas tax in order to influence people to more fuel efficient cars. Auto makers keeps saying there is little current demand

Oh hell, the heat shield on my Focus is held up with Zip Ties. I’m not saying they’re wrong or anything, but if you’re trying to sell your car, maybe don’t have a picture of them and a vice grip securing some piece of the mechanicals. It kind of puts people off, if you know what I mean.

Zip ties and vice grips should not be included in CL photos, if you want to sell a car. It makes me wonder what else is held together by cable ties, clamps and hope. CP.

From the CL ad, “155k miles (250km on functioning ODO)“.

Sorry, hadn’t had my morning coffee yet.

I know, I know, it’s a rare 3-series wagon, that’s shows pretty clean and well taken care of for its age. But, and you knew that was coming, $14K? A quick check on Autotrader shows at least ten newer E-series wagons, with similar or less miles for well under what the seller is asking.

I’d go NP. If you’ve always wanted a late model Chevy Impala SS, but hated the torque steer, this is the car for you. Lose some of the bright work, put some steelies on it, and have one of the best sleepers in the neighborhood. It’s probably the only way you could do 90+ on Ohio interstates and not get pulled over.

I’m just saying I think their priorities are misplaced. Fiat/Chrysler is, again, placing most of their eggs in the large truck/SUV end of the market. This area is profitable now, because gas is cheap. This will not last. Dodge/Chrysler will have no small or mid-size fuel efficient car or CUV on the market, as they are

Yep. And do you know why? Because that’s what people are buying, and Chrysler needs to be building cars that buyers actually want, not another low volume porker that makes them $0.00 in profit. Only a healthy car company can build well sorted out sports cars most Jalops say they want.

That car has the weirdest automatic transmission I’ve ever seen. And VW makes some awesome steel wheels and covers too. They look five spoke alloys, but I guess the ad boys down at the dealership know more about the car then I do. I hope it works out for you.

No, not insects, it’s....

Yep, this is exactly what Fiat/Chrysler needs to be spending money on. Not a competitive SUV/CUV for Dodge, any type of mid size sedan for either Dodge or Chrysler, hybrid tech for their current fleet of cars or trucks, or, heaven forbid, a replacement for a the Charger/Challenger/300, which is over a decade old.

This is a NP all the way, if it really is a 60K mile car. A few things ping my bullshit sensor. First, for $1,800, why the hell is this still for sale after 7 days on market? Second, for only 60K miles, it has a fair amount of interior wear & tear. Third, it’s being posted “for someone else”, which is somewhat

I agree with Tom, but if you’re going Swedish, go for the last, best looking Saab built.

Nope. Since they are, presumably, riding in the back seats, I’m driving. If I drive, I get to configure the seats, therefore I know how it will go.

Correction:

My elderly parents just bought a 2016 EX model, and it is almost everything you said the 2017 model is. Their car is extremely comfortable in ride, and the engine provides adequate amounts of get up and go for what it is. The car is very easy for them to enter and exit, which is important in your 80's, and is the
